I have been doing the newbie routine pretty consistently and perform it exactly how it is detailed on Thunders. I do the kegeling between each jelq (so as to get the kegels out of the way while jelqing). After about 200 jelqs I do some clamping manually (without an actual clamp). I don’t exactly know how long to do this clamping, however. I have been taking a multivitamin and omega 3 fish oil tablets everyday. I also usually have 1-2 whey protein shakes a day and try to drink plenty of water. I want to stick with stretching and jelqing because I don’t have the privacy to buy any equipment. How can I change my routine with time and still get good results? Thanks for the help and opinions.

Also, I am 6.25” BPEL and 4.75” EG.

Most guys clamp using 10 minutes sets. (I do 12 minutes)
Start with 1 set, add more sets over time.

When I manually clamp (with just my hand) there is just so much pressure on my dick that it almost gets to the point of hurting. This is probably because I am new to clamping of any sort, but I can’t imagine doing 10 minutes of purely holding my dick clamped. Usually I hold it for a minute or so. Also, are there any health risks associated with clamping, and is the discoloration permanent?

Clamping is dangerous, it cuts off all circulation, and bulges out veins which can be easily injured. You shouldn’t get in trouble clamping manually, so I’d say that’s fine for a newbie to do. But you should not consider clamping with a cable clamp any time soon, or you will see some real ugly discoloring.

The discoloring is a lack of conditioning and most newbies experience quite a lot of discoloring. Having a good warm up will cut down on the discoloring. And also not over doing it will help. And it’s not permanent, it comes and goes, if you stopped doing PE it would go away.

Thanks for the replies. Are there any guys out there that have had good gains with jelqing and stretching alone?

I’m new to all this, well as far as a dedicated routine goes. So it’s advised that I not clamp. However, I tried it a couple of times and it’s the only thing I’ve done that feels like something is happening. I tried a traction device, but it has the noose thing, so I don’t like it. I’m going to put in a order for some of Monty’s weights this week for an ADS, and I might make a captains’ wench to get a better stretch. But I don’t want to hurt the old boy, so I’m hesitant to rush ahead too much.

I think I started with 5 minute sets.

As far as discoloration, it seems “longterm” is a more accurate term. At least it was for me.

Has anyone done clamping and ever had trouble getting the clamp off? That would be a concern for me.

Once I had such an engorgement that the pressure on the clamp was really high. It took some squeezing to get it off, bug thats the tightest its ever been. If its too tight to the point that you can’t take it off, it would be broken already.
