After several days of not wearing any underwear (and some award moments of having to stay seated at work until my erection went away) my flaccid length has increased by 1cm!

That’s what I was thinking. Although I could be wrong but I can’t see how going commando helps gains.

While genetics play a huge role, “environmental conditions” play a factor too. Wearing restrictive clothing inhibits maximum blood flow, which can hinder progress, especially after a session. Letting the boys hang as free as possible, in my opinion, is the best way to maintain the temp gains from your session, which leads to perm gains over time. I don’t even wear boxers anymore since I started to find them a little restrictive. I only wear basketball shorts or custom underwear from Hillcrest.

After a week of wearing no underwear all day I noticed that my recovery time from PE has increased. My flaccid has shortened and my erection quality has deteriorated. (All other things were kept equal.)

My explanation:
Wearing no underwear means the penis hangs further away from the body, so it is at a lower temperature. This lower temperature reduces blood flow to the penis, making your penis need more time to get the necessary nutrition in order to recover after a PE session and before the next one. As a result I am overdoing it with PE even though I have not changed my routine.

Conclusion:
1. Wearing no underwear (or loose underwear) should be a must when you are likely to have an erection (like when sleeping). This will allow a full unrestricted erection and healing at your maximum possible size.
2. When flaccid it is desired to help the temperature of the penis be relatively high to help blood circulation and therefore the delivery of building blocks to the penis. So in this case, wearing underwear can help. If though at the same time you can allow the penis to hang loose it is even better. So maybe the best solution would be some form of a penis wrap..

Some kind of wrap or tube with something to lift my balls before sitting down an optional heater would be the ultimate. Underwear is so uncomfortable!

That ONLY means it’s the enemy if you’re trying to make a baby.

I think this is one of those thing where different folk will likely get different results. I know I read somewhere that porn star Billy Glyde (RIP) said wearing really snug briefs was what made his dick so thick. I sleep in the nude myself. But wear boxer briefs during the day. Again, some people may have a positive result from this, some may have a negative one. I bet for most it won’t make much difference either way.
