Stretching to jelqing

I’ve noticed some people stretch after jelqing while others jelq after stretching.

Personally, I jelq after I stretch, but which is better?

Any opinion?

I personally stretch first. Jelqing afterwards helps reinvigorate the blood flow. But I don’t think it matters all that much.

Honestly, I stretch, jelq, and then stretch again. I decided to do this because of sports. You warm up by stretching, then you exercise (jelq), and then cool down with another, shorter stretching session. It is extremely common in the sports world to do this, so I figured I might as well continue it in the PE-ing world. It couldn’t hurt. After I finish my routine, I always do a final warm wrap with a light massage to help invigorate blood flow.

Agreed! I always stretch for a few minutes, then jelq progressively, then stretch stretch stretch afterwards. I find I get a MUCH better stretch as a result.


Life is not a rehearsal... we only get one go at it so make sure it's worthwhile!
