Straight out or straight up

I re-started pe about seven weeks ago, with the newb routine. Last time I did the ten second stretch five sec. Rest using a ruler and clip sorry can’t remember the thread name. I was wondering though if it would work better stretching straight up rather then straight out and measure maybe ever ten stretches. I gained little over half an inch in three months before I stopped, stretching straight out. Any thoughts or ideas?

Measure every ten stretches? Why?

Do what works. Change it when it no longer works.

Straight up, straight down, straight out, straight right, straight left, helicopters, straight back. Measure every 2-4 weeks unless you are using cervixhunter’s routine.

Yes I used cervixhunter’s routine and want to go back at the 2 month mark. But, I’ve been doing the newb routine and straight up feels like a better stretch then straight out.

Depends if you have an upward curve, I reckon. If you do, straight up might feel better, but I believe doing that will ultimately only increase the curve. If you don’t, then I’d suggest stretching in all directions.

I have a slight downward curve, but stretching up still feels better then a straight out stretch.

Yes, and very intensive as well, so care should be taken. It kick started my gains because I never did it before.
