Shockwave applicator's silicone cap???

Hello all :) My question is about the applicator heads that come with the shockwave therapy machines. It seems often that they only come with silicone protector caps for the 35mm large head. I really don’t get it… I learned from this website to use a condom when using the 15mm head or any head other than the 35mm. I just found the silicone caps for the rest of the applicator heads being sold separately on aliexpress, so i bought them. I will put the link at the bottom. So what do guys think about silicone caps? Do they effect the quality and effectiveness of a shockwave treatment? or does the shockwave’s energy just travel right through the silicone caps?

If you don’t use them or some sort of cover, the US gel creates a mess inside of the applicator head. I just use the large ones which came with the unit and keep it in place as best I can. I didnt know other sizes were available, thanks for the info.
