Relative proportions over absolute size

While I haven’t been PEing for very long, my gains so far have been totally acceptable. Roughly 1/4 inch gained over about 2 months, from an initial length of 6” BPEL. My goal is of a relatively proportional nature. Assuming I am standing, I want my erect penis to touch my belly button. I don’t know exactly how long that would make it, but my current estimate, according to absolute measurement of my present length, would be 7 inches, which would mean 3/4 inch to go.

I think by reaching my belly button with my penis, it becomes obvious that it is above average in length. Anyone looking at it would know that it’s big.
I’m not very tall, at only 5’7”, and this seems to me like it would be a great proportion for me to have. Obviously someone much taller would require a much longer penis to achieve the same proportions, but perhaps measuring in relation to some other part of your body makes for a more interesting goal as opposed to absolute measurement.

From reading this site, it seems that the so-called “ideal girth” that most guys aim for is 6 inches, which is bigger than my wrist. As much as I would like for my penis to be bigger, I couldn’t possibly justify having a penis thicker than my wrist.

I like proportion similar to 8.5NBPx6.5 which is my goal size. (7.75 NBPx6 right now). That’s a little girthy but not so much it takes away from the huge, startling length.

I wasn’t trying to poke fun at anyone. After reading his post I got curious, pulled out a tape, and measured my wrists. It was somewhere between 8 to 9 inches, but then I am big boned, no pun intended. I couldn’t imagine (or want) a penis the same girth as my wrist.

@Greaver, I wouldn’t hold your breath about making your penis long enough to reach your belly button making your cock look “big” unless you have big girth to go with it. I am your height, I’m 7” long flaccid stretched, I can pull it to about the middle of my belly button, and while it’s not small it certainly isn’t impressive or big looking by any means. My girth is a little smaller than average which can add to that perception but I’ve never once been told I’m “big”, although I do bottom out on occasion without much difficulty.

Judging from what you said about your cock not being as big as your wrists, I assume you have average or slightly above average girth so regardless of your relative size, your cock I think will need some work lengthwise and then probably girthwise to be noticed as big in the future. To be honest, I’ve never been complexed about my size. I started out in the average and I knew it. I do have small wrists, and pretty much small everything else. I’m 5’7 tall and weigh 120lbs.
I don’t have sex with many women, but I’m not totally inexperienced either. I’m not sure I really want to blow anyone’s mind with the size of my member. But at least I know, if only for my own confidence and ego, that I am above average.
I’ve been told by several women I’ve been with that they were surprised with my skills. I can’t speak on their behalf beyond that because I’ve never been on the receiving end of sex with me, but that’s kept my sexual confidence pretty high and I don’t feel that I NEED a bigger dick, I just feel that it’s a nice little bonus.

Anyway, the point of this thread was to consider alternative methods of measuring for personal satisfaction.
I consider that once I reach my belly button, it will seem big to me, and that’s what I think is most important.
