PE vs hair loss

PE vs hair loss

Ok, so I have a hair loss problem. The moon isn’t showing yet but I’m getting there quicker than I anticipated. During net research I’ve found out masturbating and/or too much ejaculation has a great effect on the DHT levels that are the main reason for MPB (male pattern baldness for those of ya’ who don’t know). I realize this subject must have been discussed in other posts but I couldn’t find a dedicated thread. So here are my questions “pour le connaisseur”: how much does PE affect DHT/hair loss? What are the main exercises one with such a problem should avoid except edging and ballooning (that are the most problematic)? Is it worth loosing hair over a big unit? (Knowing you are probably going to go bald anyways, eventually, but maybe slower should you stop).

I’m raising this problem because having a big unit with a rock-hard erection is great and all but it doesn’t help if you don’t get to the part where you can show it off :D .

I know there are treatments with a high success rates, but in my god-forsaken country they are lacking and expensive and my student pocket can’t afford them. I’ve found some highly recommended products on the web but, of course, I can’t afford those either so I’m trying to do my best to slow down the process in the least expensive way.

I’d like to hear your thoughts on this matter. Thanks.

Playing with your unit takes time.. And time is money.. You shouldn't touch what you can't afford :>

Try supplementing Biotin. I take two 5 mg pills a day and I am positive my hair is getting thicker.

The primary goal of PE should be to make your penis as healthy as possible in both form and function. If you do that, increased size will follow.

I doubt PE itself (without masturbation/sex) releases all that much in the way of hormones aside from maybe edging, I tend to think the process has more of a local effect in terms expression of genes/growth factors/repair, but I’m happy to be corrected on this. The real question is would you forgo masturbation/sex just to maybe preserve your hair a bit, given that there probably isn’t any worthwhile long term data around that.

Look into the possible treatments, including the alternative ones listed on wikipedia. It might be possible to import some of the anti-hair loss agents from overseas for cheaper depending on your local laws. Keep in mind the growth cycle of hair (about 3 monthly) when trying things or budgeting. The sooner you get on something the better, as it’s harder for some people to regrow hair once it has been lost.

Biotin.. Hmm I’ll have to look into that.

The idea isn’t to give up on sex.. It’s to limit ejaculations to let’s say once or twice a week. I’m trying to give up on masturbation as I used to overdo this for about 5 years and I think it might be one of the major reasons why I lost so much hair in the last 5 years =).. Well that and probably stress.

Growth cycle of hair is news to me.. I’ll have to do some research here.

Can you recommend any of these treatments as well as a site where one could purchase them online? (Preferably cheaper)

Thanks for your answers.

Not to change the subject, but whats up with your sig. Lol

Starting: 6 7/8 EL X 4.8 EG (estimated since I didn't measure)

Current: 8.5 EL X 5.5 EG

Goal: 8.5 X 6.25

Masturbation, PE or even watching porn causes some extra production of hormones however I doubt that this amount can cause hair loss. Look at guys doing weight lifting, they take tones of testosterone and still many of them have hairs.

I had a very serious hair loss during my early 20, my scalp was so itchy that I couldn’t fall asleep. It was because of my life style. Too much stress + poor diet caused increased sebum and it caused hair loss. If you produce too much sebum wash your hairs daily even twice a day and change your life style It will help you.

IMO, I do not think that hair loss is related to edging or masturbation. I am in my seventies. I had a very active sex live in both of my marriages. Having intercourse at the very least 5 times a week. I also masturbated quite frequently. I am now single, both divorced and widowed. I edge nearly every day for periods up to 45 minutes. I try and ejaculate no more that twice a week. I have a full head of hair and also a full beard.

I believe baldness is more closely related to heredity than anything else. My dad had a full head of hair until his death in his mid-80s. My maternal grandfather had a full head of hair, but he died in his late 50s.

My granddad is 95 and he has more hairs than I ever had (I’m 28). Genetics is important but it won’t help if you run unhealthy life.

Yes, I know that stress and diet are also causes for hair loss and I am trying to change my lifestyle as much as possible because I get stressed out very easily..

My scalp produces lots of sebum indeed.. I’ll follow your advice and wash my hair more often. I used to avoid over-washing because someone told me that is the main issue.. But I’m starting to believe that isn’t true.

I know the genetics part is the most important and for me it is unavoidable, since both my dad and his father have MPB.. However their problems started later.. In their mid 30s I believe, while mine started when I was 20. I’m just trying to slow it down as much as possible.

Thank you for your replies.

If I remember my genetics classes correctly, we get the MPB gene from our mothers who in turn got it from their fathers.

I wash my hair nearly every day. I would say 98% of the time. I also do not use costly shampoos. I have used Suave shampoo for over 50 years.

The only thing that is proven to work against hair loss is finasteride.
