Quick question. I started jelqing early last year. I did the newbie routine posted on this website. I never gained anything. Not even a 1/16”. In December I decided I was going to start hanging. I admit I made my own hanging device, and I think it stretches as it should. I feel my ligs stretching throughout my shaft and at the base. When I stretch straight up, I can even feel a good stretch in my perineum. I’ve probably gained 1/2” in flaccid length, and when I do a hard workout my penis doesn’t shrink up inside me like it use to. Running and heavy squats always made it shrink. I can even stretch it up to my belly button. Before I could only stretch it and 3/4” below it. But with that, again I haven’t gained anything on erection length. Is this common? I know some people say it may take a year or two to gain an inch, but I’m going on one year and haven’t gained anything.

What could I be doing wrong?

Any advice is appreciated.

One of the issues with manual techniques and extending is the amount of force used isn’t easy to quantify, so it’s not easy to communicate what a routine actually consists of to correlate it with results or injury.

An increase in flaccid stretched length is a good sign I think. I would discount the stretched flaccid length size increase that occurs immediately after a hanging session though since it seems to be temporary.

I’ve noticed an increase in stretched flaccid length is followed by gains to erect length within a few months.

What gives gains with PE is complicated. Newbies tend to gain with any sort of PE, but what continues to cause gains seems to be different for people that have been at it for a while. If you’ve hit a plateau or never got gains from a given technique, why not try something new or change your routine after a deconditioning break?

I’ve had good results from low vacuum pressure pumping ( 5 inHg) for 20 minutes every other day and sporadic light weight hanging with .5lbs..
