Official measuring day.

When you track your progress by measuring for gains do you PE the day of the measurement? I would think that PEing would skew the measurement upward so I’m curious to know what everyone does when they take their official measurements. I’m measuring every five weeks or so and my next measurement is coming up next week. I don’t know how I should measure to make it “official”.
