My Lessons After About 8 Months

My Lessons After About 8 Months

First off, thanks to everyone who contributes here. The support, positivity and information here is invaluable so I’m hoping to provide some contribution.

Not much I’m saying here is groundbreaking or even new, but I’m hoping it will be useful to some.

Quick description of my journey. I still consider myself a newbie. I did the newbie routine for 4 months pretty consistently and went from 5.5 BPEL to just over 6 and 5.0 girth to about 5.2. I then stopped for 3 months for no real reason. Lost about 0.4 in length and not really any girth.

I started up a month ago again and today, to my surprise, measured 6.25 BPEL and just under 5.5 girth. I’ve been consistent but anywhere from 2-4 times per week doing the newbie routine again with some basic squeezes rolled in. So..

1. Consistency is key - my personal opinion based on my experience is that your routine needs to be sustainable and you DON’T need too much too soon.

2. Know your dick - funny, but I had no idea what this meant until I started PE. If I wasn’t getting good PIs (which was actually rare), I’d take an extra day. I got those red dots once, so I let them go away. If a hell session was going well, I’d do an extra minute or two. Start of slow and learn your queues.

3. Don’t rip your head off - when stretching, my best stretches were not when I was pulling full force but when I kept consistent tension.

4. Warm up - yeah, do this. I use towel and regularly reapply hot water to it.

5. Stay fit or get fit - I’ve been an athlete my entire life. This has taught me routine and discipline. As far as additional benefits like blood flow and elevated testosterone (natural) I’m sure this goes without saying

6. Have sex a lot, drink water a lot- just because.. Why not.

7. Have fun and learn about your body - honestly I’ve come to appreciate those 30-45 min to myself. Because I don’t have an aggressive schedule, I actually look forward to each session. Don’t worry about the end goal but enjoy the journey.

For me, I’m hoping I can get to 7 x 6 ideally but I might re evaluate once I get to that bridge :)

Thanks again everyone.

Congratulation on your achievements, I am happy for you and thank you for sharing your experience.

Good luck in the future as well.

Thanks man I appreciate it and same to you!

Good tips. I’ve had similar observations in the short time I’ve been PE’ing.

Regarding #3 I’ve learned that when stretching, it’s best to not touch your glands at all. I usually pull my shaft skin back (I’m circumcised) and then grab with my thumb and index about mid shaft. Doing it this way the skin seems to stop me before my OK grip touches my glands at all and I feel the stretch on the inside. I’m just clarifying for any newbies who may hear “don’t pull your head off” and think they should be grabbing the glands and stretching.

Keep up the good work and good luck with your gains.

Yeah this is a GREAT point that I learned also and left out. I’m uncut and it’s the same process. Pull back skin, grab mid shaft because once stretched it’s closer towards the glands. Defo don’t grab the glands. I just meant don’t yank on it for all it’s worth it but this clarification was important. Good luck!

Hello there, I got quite an interesting point from your post.

So, you saying that you lost 0,4 cm in length without PE? I’m currently on my 3rd month in a row and 5th one overall. But due to being busy currently I think to left PE for month or enlarge day-offs to 4-5. What you could say about that thing?

I described my “story” a bit deeper in “Technical questions about Newbie Routine” in this same section of forum.

Decondition breaks are improtant as well, they can be as short as 7 days period or longer like month or two, in that time it is normal to loose some of the gains you made, but those gains will be easy to get them back plus you will make some space for future gains.

Also, if you are worried about loosing gains, you can do a “maintaining phase” for that period that keeps you busy, doing some light stretches and jelq under the shower perhaps.

What is “maintaining phase”? Haven’t heard about it yet and there is no such video in exercise section. Well, as I do stretches some other way than in video, in shower it could be damagy((

Stretches will be hard to do in the shower, you have to be dry in order to perfom nice stretch and to have good grip.

Jelqing, however, for me works the best in the shower, try it.

Maintaing phase would mean that you are not doing your regular routine, rather you are doing just a light stretches and some jelqs here and there, to remind your body that it is being exercised, nothing else…

Anyway, do not stress yourself too much, PE is a long run think in term of years, so ocasionally PE breaks will find their place in that journey.

Yeah I’d echo what Jason said. I lost some of my gains but they came back quickly. Think of it like two steps forward and one back, then repeat. The break did me good although I’d probably not stop completely if I had the choice. But it goes back to number 1, just be consistent, even if that means only twice a week for some weeks.
