If you’re ever going to learn anything, I guess I should try to explain things to you rather than just get impatient and hot under the collar, but you have to help by reading more first. Deal? Okay, let’s go….

In fact you will actually be pushing much, much harder. When you do a “Vulcan V” you are only using your hand and arm muscles to compress the suprapubic pad. During sex you use your body weight (or your partner’s) and the force and compression is actually substantially greater.
The “deeper connection” you mention is most certainly penis. Only about 1/3 of the penis extends from the body, all the rest is hidden inside and is attatched to the pubic bone by a set of ligaments. During a Phalloplasty (penis lengthening operation) the surgeon will sever these ligaments and bring forward some of the internal portion of the penis. Absolutely correct! And more measurable too. It also creates havoc with your NBP’s which is another reason why they are so unreliable. Plastic surgeons will often use liposuction on the suprapubic pad to enhance the effects of a phalloplasty. Here’s a link which explains the relationship between the suprapubic pad and penis size in phalloplasty in greater detail.

Newbie, there’s really only one person here who’s kidding themselves. You’ve gone out of your way to antagonize members and mods alike and flatly refuse to accept or even listen to any other opinion but your own even when confronted with conclusive proof. I don’t know what your agenda is or what you’re trying to prove however I suspect you may have personal issues you need to work through. Gone out of my way to ….. what? I think they give out moderator licenses too easily in this forum (lol). You’re getting way too angry - this is just a discussion. By the tone of your last few posts, it seems that my view sincerely threatens you some how - why should it? Its just an argued opinion dude.

Sex does not push down that area to the same degree. Who are you kidding? The weight of you parner is spread out over a large area. The push of your hands is exceedingly localized. And you still have not addressed other potential factors for differences in pubic bone depth staying only with the fat factor.

I think as a moderator you should really stop and think before you post. You set an example for others here on how to have a discussion and I think you are setting a very poor example with this behavior. You might disagree with me - you know, with the argument bp allows a fixed measuring point while i say that while it is fixed, but still open to abuse if you use different pressures - regardless of what you are supposed to do - there can be differences to depth of pubic bone for a variety of reasons (not just fat in that area)- and because of this, bp is inaccurate for comparison amoung different people or has the potential to be inaccurate, but to threaten someone with being torn to shreds or humiliating them or dissing a username - dude get a clue!

NBP can work if you are careful - and it has the benefit of being true length. If you are not careful with bp, you can get just as inaccurate a reading. And what reading have you really got - is it comparable if someone has a shorter depth there do to a tilited pelvis due to bad posture? Or what about the guy with small bones versus the guy with much larger bones? Everything may not else be equal. Fat is not the only depth effector.

In any case, I think you should be a little more respectful of this message board and the moderator privileges you have been given. Because when you behave in the manner in which you were, you lessen the value of this community for us all.

Just one last thing

In addition to there being different depths from base to pubic bone with age, bone size, fat and posture playing a role which can give comparably false indication of penis size, and lets face it, whats in their is not usable penis( when you get a hardon and are ready for intercourse that length in there is not available to you. It is not your usable penis and is not part of length girth measurements), bp does not really offer as fixed a mark as many here would lead us to believe. First off, How hard a push is your hard a push? Can you even remember kinaesthetically how hard you pushed? Could you push harder? How do you know. Obviously, you are not pushing as hard as you can or else you would impale yourself. So, where is the impale point and hard as possible point? Is there more to go? Of course there is. Is pain your only guide? Could there possibly be more pain one day and less another? Could tolerance develop over time allowing you to really dig (without breaking the skin) giving you a false increase reading? Its not as fixed as many believe. This, coupled with different sized base to pubic bone areas, may give pretty inaccurate measurements, especially if you choose to compare with someone else.

Nbp is not perfect but if you measure it consistently in the same way, it provides a far more usable measurement that bp.

Here goes,

I’m a fat guy. If I loose forty pounds without doing PE my NBP will go up by one inch. The reason we use BP (most of us any way) is not to make ourselves feel good by recording a bigger number as you seem to be implying. It is to find out how much was gained by our efforts. I measure 5-1/4” NBP and 6-3/4 BP. My wife and I have been married 24 years, we can grind it out pretty good. I’m not saying that all 6-3/4” goes in but i gaurantee you that its more than 5-1/4”. I’ve decided to do an experiment and post both my BP and NBP over the next 8 months. I expect to loose 40 pounds (that will be one inch NBP gain due to fat loss only) plus I hope to gain one other inch by my PE efforts. If all goes as I hope it will I’ll be 7-3/4 BP and 7-1/4 NBP. From all this I hope you can see the usefulness of the BP measure.

Lord have mercy, get a clue. If you wish to tell someone how large your penis is, by all means use the NBP measure. For accuracy in measure GAINS, the BP measure is by far the most accurate. It is what all research scientist involved in PE use.

Nobody here is using BP measurements to make it look better or make themselves feel better. These boards have been around since ‘97 and almost everyone who has come through has seen this logic and used BP. You are the first to let it bother you.

Finally, look at it this way. Let’s say you PE for six months and gain 1/2 inch. Then, over the next six months you gain another 1/4 inch bone pressed, but you gain fifty pounds. Because of the weight gain, your NBP shows you lost the 1/2 inch gain from the first six months. So NBP, you have gained nothing. BP shows you have gained 3/4 inch total. Which measure shows the true benefit of PE?


Different approach .......

Time for me to ask a few questions. Please try to answer with facts supported by documentation where possible as I have done.

1. If guys lose weight their NBPs will measure longer. How can they distinguish whether gains are from PE or weight loss? Isn’t this important so they can evaluate the effectiveness of their PE program?
2. In PE aren’t the variations in posture, bone size, fat and depth of individual pubic bones irrelavent? After all, we aren’t measuring to compare against each other, are we, so it doesn’t really matter - PE isn’t a competition.
3. Given that the pubis is a fixed bone there is only so far you can push a ruler until it physically cannot go any further. Certainly you may be able to creep an extra few mm’s in the first few measurements through creative kinesthetics, however this can be true of both measuring methods. But soon or later you will hit rock bottom where, through either pain or guilt, creeping becomes impracticable. What happens then?

1. Who says their nbp will be longer? Thats not true. It merely appears longer. If you lose weight, dick doesnt magically appear.
You seem to be implying that if you gain weight, your dick gets sucked in. No it doesnt. Fat may fold over or your bigger size makes it look smaller but if you merely find where the penis exits the body, which requires no pushing, you get the length.

2. I was referring to the usefulness of it as a measure to compare. If you say I am this way and he says he is that way, we dont know what we are talking about because we still havent said how big his penis is or how big the other guy is. Yes it may show quantity of gain, but so does nbp.

3. I dont know, then you get a smaller measurement (lol)?

Whatever. Hey nbp works just as well and gives true length of penis as a bonus.

I apologize if I implied that people use it as a way to make themselves to feel better (it may have that effect) as the reason they use it is to have an accurate as possible measurement. I believe I can get just as accurate measurements nbp and I have. The couple times i did bp i got different results. And I’ve heard people mention that they can go down very different depths. And then I hear everybody say how accurate it is… I just had to offer my point of view.

Anyways, I wish you guys the most success with your pe’ ing and I apologize if I offended anyone.

This is how I see it. If you are primarily concerned with your penises’ appearance, showing it off, getting comment based on how big it looks, then you’re probably going to be concerned more with nbp. Weight loss would be just as important here as PE, if you’re overweight.

If you are more concerned with keeping up with PE progress (measuring gains accurately), or getting comments based on how big it feels as opposed to just appearence, you would be more focused with bp instead.

If you’re just fishing for extra gains to make yourself feel better, then you’ve probably already created a permanant indentation above the base of your penis with your ruler from pressing too hard. Go ahead, press it till it bleeds :bigwink:

But all in all, gains are gains. It all comes out the same in the end. For the record I measure bone pressed, but my actual goal is to get to 7.5 NBP. I’m nowhere close to that so I haven’t measured nbp in a very long time.
