I lose my erection after the first 10 or so strokes while jelqing. Does this happen to all newbies? Can someone suggest methods to maintain a firm erection while jelqing?

Try doing a littl bit of edging before your jelqing session.

I also throw in some squeezes every 50 or so jelques to keep things firm

i had the same problem i kept erection just for 10/15 jelq.

i overcome the problem wachting POV pornmovie but i think no one can jelquing 200 time without masturbation.

Quite a number of newbies have an opposite problem they can’t keep a 70% erection instead they get 100% erections from jelqing.

I had problems staying erect while clamping but watching porn during the session solved it.

Actually, unless there are people in the house I have little problem maintaining an erection during wet jelqing at all.


Began December 2009 at 5 7/8" length and 5" girth.

As of December 5th 2012 7 3/8" BPEL and 6 1/8" base girth.

Going for the magic 8"x6"

Have porn playing and look at it when your erection starts to subside. If people are in your home put it on mute or use head phones.

Also rubbing the head with your thumb while jelqing helps stimulate it.

And of course, like already mentioned, edging before/watching porn before (without ejaculating)

I always just use the dry jelq method while lubed up, so when erection subsides just stroke away until you get back up to desired erection level. Also making a tight ring with your jelqing hand at your base while stimulating the head help pump lots of blood in for good expansion.

Kegels and continuing the jelq over the glans (similar to the rubbing the head suggestion above).

That`s the issue I’ve been having.. After something like 30 jelqs it gets around 90% and already too dangerous for my newbies routine..
I just started jelqing (one week ago).. Any advices?

Relax, try to take your mind off of it. Just stop, don’t jelq or touch your unit until your erection subsides a little then just continue. Don’t think stopping for this reason will ruin your workout because having too much blood is not a problem for growth but you don’t want to jelq like that and cause vein damage. Just relax if it gets too exciting and try not to stimulate it as much. The more you do it the easier it’ll get.

Yeah, if you can make it to 30 jelqs before it’s too high of an erection, just wait for it to go down then start up again. My erection levels are lower if my attention is distracted by anything non-sexual. For example, listen to talk radio, read the forum, or watch a non-sexual TV show while jelqing. Do your 30 jelqs, then distract yourself until boner subsides, then do 30, repeat. If that doesn’t work, you could also do the routine shortly after ejaculating, during the refractory period.
