Lifestyle penis size survey, how correct is it?

Thanks for the clarification Fantom!

LifeStyles study a marketing scam.

I’ve tried contacting LifeStyles through email in the past about a year ago to get the dataset but there was no response. To be honest, it just seems like marketing more than research. What better way to have your brand out there than to do a survey with your name on it.

The fact that it doesn’t match up with real studies is also a red flag.

Size is little more than a controllable perception without an accurate means of measurement.

You would think if anything they would inflate their numbers though. They have a guaranteed sale on the regular sized condoms. What advantage would lifestyles get from basically saying nobody has a large penis. Don’t they sell XXL sized condoms?

Lol, I really don’t know if they do - I’ve been spoiled. :D

I'm consistent in spurts, but gains are undeniable!

2007: BPEL 5.5" / MSEG 4.7" / BG 5.5"

2017: BPEL 6.8" / MSEG 5.3" / BG 6"

Jawbone, great point. Lifestyles knew that if they simply wanted data on American dick sizes, there were much better studies that had been done that did not involve as much self-selection. To do that kind of study with drunk Cancun college partiers, a quarter of whom couldn’t even get a proper erection for measuring, was basically a marketing ploy, as was the press release that followed.

Fantom, yeah, it’s hard to say, although I think it’s plausible the figure was NBP, and the guys simply had smallish fat pads and were on the larger side (self selection).

Doesn’t it seems that the size is bonded to a very high %-ile?
6.5” bpel puts you in the top 10%

It does seem so, compared to reading peoples’ stats here, but I think the Lifestyles survey is one of the most accurate sources for this, due to the fact that guys weren’t measuring themselves. Using BP, weird angles, ect., I think the average person here could be spotting themselves an inch or more at all times when they give their “official” measurement.

The lifestyles study is the most believable of all studies, allthough I can´t help but feel that the average is far bigger than they try to tell us. Just from jerking off in the same room as other guys.

According to the study there are guys out there with dicks longer than 8 inches and girths over 6, in contrary to this chart: Average Penis Size Chart

One thing I did not quite get though, the study checked 300 guys, and they say 0.1 percent is between 8.75 and 9. That doesn´t make any sense. Thats like saying that 0.3 guys where that big.

My guess is they worked out the distribution and extrapolated. You don’t need to measure all guys to work out the stats of the entire population, you only need a sample.

They use some sort of interpolation to calculate the "extreme" values, they probably didn’t find anyone between 8.75 to 9.

I’m really confused with all these surveys..

Most medical surveys say “5 inch willy”.

Lifestyle says “6 inch willy”.

Forums say “7 inch willy”.

Men say “8 inch willy”.

Women say.. However.

I think that if it’s not very small or very big, it doesn’t matter so much.

But I’m curious what’s the point to exaggerate in an anonymous web survey, raising the average size in that way. It’s just unreasonable.

The survey appears quite accurate, most surveys will leave out girth and this perhaps is the most critical dimension. There is nothing uglier than a pencil lead to unstrap. The world is filled with small penis’.
