I've NEVER had nightmorning erections

It’s really strange to read about this phenomenon as if it’s such a common thing, but I’ve never really in my life experienced them :S ?

Well maybe a couple of times, but you get the point.

I’ve been periodically PE’ing for maybe 3 years now, (propably never long and stringent enough to get permanent gains) but I haven’t claimed that night-erection that should
Be such a good indicator that it’s going the right way?

Is there really no one out there besides me that never experience night/morning erections?

I have had long periods without masturbation too, so I don’t think it’s an “overdoing” problem.

Do you generally sleep all the way through the night? Maybe you get them while you are sleeping and never realize? I seem to go periods where I do not get them but it may be me just not noticing.

Are you taking any medications? Narcotics, sedatives and even some anti-depressants can affect night wood.

My first suggestion would be getting more sleep. Seriously. In bed at 10:00 PM every night. See if it doesn’t switch around on you in a week.

I do not get them often either. Not sure why because during the day my drive is insane and I often get them during the day at work randomly. I often theorize that since I am into training allot that during the night my body is more worried about repair and not about wood when I wake up.

Do you have strong erections during the day or when you need them? Decent sexdrive?

If so, I would not worry about it a bit.

I think that’s the key then. I’ve always had trouble sleeping and I’m on anti-depressant medicine (right now a brand which I take right before sleeping).

And no, my sex drive, otherwise, is fine. And no problem getting wood on command.

Maybe I should try “going to bed everyday at 10” advice and see :)

I have no clue about helping gains but I doubt it. I also did not get night wood for years when I was taking, actually abusing is a better word, benzodiazepines for a mild anxiety disorder. I’m taking a small dose of an SSRI now (have been for a while). When I stopped the benzodiazepines, my night wood re-appeared. PE made them even more frequent. My guess is that the benzodiazepines affected REM sleep (they are known for doing this) and since night wood occurs during REM sleep (when dreaming)the benzodiazepines affected it.

I sleep loads and basically always wake up with erections, sometimes just when I get in bed I get them and wake up in the night with them. I don’t eat healthy, I’m depressed loads and I don’t exercise at the moment. I still seem to get them.

Well if you don’t have orgasms much try having more. Some times when I go a while with out getting off my morning wood goes away.

Maybe your night woods come out a time your sleeping and by the time you wake up they are gone.

Nah I have plenty of orgasms so that’s not it :-) . And yes maybe they appear while I’m asleep but times when I’ve awoken at night I haven’t had them though. I only really get them if I don’t pee before I sleep. But that’s just because of the sensation of having to pee I think :-)

Haha, at your sensation to pee! I was thinking that maybe your night woods are short. Maybe they only occur for 10 minutes between 3:50 to 4:00 am! Also what are your sleeping patterns like? I find the day before i do a great jelqing session i get hard morning wood the next day.

Well then how would ever find out if they are there ? And how would I know if they’ve improved :D ?

Well my sleep pattern is quite fluctuating I think. Mostly I try to get in bed at midnight, but then I propably sleep 1 hour later. And if I don’t have to get up I usually wake 7½ hours later :)

It could maybe be an indication of heart or blood flow problems I think
