I think I am jelqing wrong, and need help

I have watched the jelqing videos, and read plenty of threads on beginner jelqing, but I think I am doing it wrong.

First, I have a hard time keeping a semi. This worries me, but I can solve it by putting on porn in the background. I just look up at some tits when I need to get a bit harder.

Second, here is the real issue. At the end of the jelq, the glans gets quite large. Just as large as with a kegel on a 100% erection, if not even a tad larger. It feels good :) However, when the jelq is not yet at the glans of the penis, I don’t really see the remaining shaft getting as large as 100% erection or 100%+kegel. I also don’t see the penis getting as long as 100% erection or 100%+kegel. Am I explaining this in a way that is comprehensible? Should I only see the immediate result of the jelq in the glans, or should I see it through the whole penis?

What information do you need from me to diagnose if I am jelqing properly? I could try to take a video.

I am 5.75” BPEL x 4.5” EG, if it matters. My glans is probably more like 3.5” to 4” EG, it’s smaller than the shaft.

What your saying is that your glans is completely filled up but the rest of your penis is not engorged with blood.

You’ll see results in the whole penis as long as your doing it right, and it sounds like you are. Have you watched the videos yet? If you have watched it and mimicked them, your doing great.

I have watched the videos and I think I am doing it the same. Part of the problem is the guy in the videos is pretty hung, so he has a long way to push the blood. When my fingers are locked around the base, between the shortness of my penis and the width of my grip, it’s only like two inches or less to the rim of the glans.

Jiffy, you can use your thumb and your index finger only, that way you have more space to jelq. Also are you using one grip only? Different grip causes different parts of the penis to be engorged with blood more better.

Hence if you use all 3 grips, you should find your penis plump after the workout. Like the effect of pumping iron.

I will try that. It’s hard to see after-workout size, because I always masturbate right after I finish jelqing. I’ll try though.

The reverse OK grip usually gives me a good range to move about (eg. thumb + pointing finger + ring as in “OK” .. starting from the base with thumb and point. finger ;) ).
