Is it at all practical to make a DIY ADS that pulls at about the same strength as hanging would and would produce similar gains that hanging does?
I have no ability to hang for gains but really want to. I can do the theraband ADS device that I could sneak off to adjust frequently. If I used the 15 pound theraband and crank it all the way taught, would that be similar to hanging with a 15 weight for the duration?
As I would attach it to my leg I imagine that this would simulate the swing you get from hanging. I could also readjust the angles as needed, perhaps doing 2 or 3 sessions perhaps at an hour each and increase times as I’m able.
Seems to me that this would work unless this has been tried before and I can’t seem to find the thread. If not, I’ll be glad to guinea pig it for everyone.
