Hardware Store Cock Rings

Good looking out. Being a machinist I have 316 and 304 on hand. I made myself a fat cock ring out of 316 and combined with some traction wrapping (the wife doesn’t know I’m doing this) and the separation type underwear .. I don’t know what the rules are for name dropping but its the type underwear that separates the beans from the frank. I sat next to the wife on the couch with my freshly made ring on and some wrapping going on and I saw her eyes light up when she saw the bulge. She has no idea I’m doing PE outside the bath mate which I stopped for now to focus on length first. Fun times over here.

I had a horrible experience with zinc plated rings; while I don’t seem to require surgical, I use stainless steel or nothing… It took a few day for the sores to develop, but weeks for the sores, almost like blisters that popped to go away…

What I can say is I started PE in October of last year after buying a bath mate. Last month I got laid off as an aerospace machinist so I have plenty of time on my hands. My main goal is length and anti turtle training. I have an extender on the way but with time to experiment why not. Gotta not be depressed somehow right? For me I wanted a weighted all day hang. Not traction necessarily but keeping it stretched to full length is all nothing beyond or extreme. Just keep it out basically. What I’ve done is the following. I welded a 1”steel ring from the hardware store to a 3/4” nut (I believe) and wrapped the nut in medical tape. Being a machinist I made a stainless steel ring with a 1” inside diameter .. I made it big and wide. Heavy. So what I’ve come to REALLY like is I took pantie hose and cut the toe off. Cut two lengths off approx 5” long each. Slip the two of them on and install the fat stainless ring over the nylons. Then I install the welded ring and nut. Since its in front (behind the head) I used pieces of the self adhesive medical tape to get the perfect fit. The nylons are a skin protector. It gives firm tug all day and stays on. I’d be glad to help or share. Not selling anything but I do have machines and welders and I’m willing to help anybody on the hunt like myself.

Still messing with it. The one I bought are just welded steel rings from Ace hardware from the bins in the hardware section. They only had 1 kind. Zinc plated I would guess. They didn’t irritate my skin but I haven’t worn them a ton. I got a 2” one for around the shaft and balls. It works and fits good. I thought I’d want to wear it all the time but I’m not sold on that idea because it makes your balls stick out and I’ve crunched them a couple times. Not fun. I got several other test sizes for glans rings. 1” for me fits nice but can fall off if enough turtle happens so I decided to go a different route. Because it feels awesome and I can get max flaccid stretch all day I wanted weighted glans rings. It’s not traction really it just keeps it pulled all the way down. I used one of the 1” rings from the hardware store and bought a large nut and welded them together and wrapped them both with medical tape to keep it from touching skin.

I used the same medical tape around the ring to make the best fit to not fall off. I’ve found it worked great to cut 2 pieces off the feet of pantie hose about 3” long. Slide those on one over the other as a skin protector and shim. Then slide the welded ring assembly on. Now since I’m a machinist and have 316 stainless steel on hand I’ve made myself some fat heavy glans rings. It seems the eternal struggle is going to be how to make sure they don’t fall off in public. Still experimenting. The weighted rings I made myself after researching online for ideas I’m loving. They fit good, feel good and have perfect weight and stretch for me. Hope this helps. I can take pics if you need them but its just plain rings from the hardware store and I welded one of them to a heavy nut and wrapped it in medical tape. The ones I made are just bored to fit. 1” inside and about 1.6” outside and approx 1/2” thick. They’re pretty comfortable.

Final report. I’ve experimented with the steel rings from the hardware store. I haven’t experienced any allergic reactions from the metal personal. The conclusion I came to was I like the weighted pull as anti turtle training plus mild stretch. Plus it feels good. All day wear was my goal. So I ended up using the 2” ring around the shaft and balls. I couldn’t get the right fit for me to stay on all day for the rings as glans rings. I’m a machinist and had 316 stainless on hand at my home shop. I made 2 glans rings that are heavy to wear all day. I still ran into the slipping off so I figured out a way to bond some material on the inside to prevent it from slipping off. The ring further towards my pubic bone I’ve had to put back on the lathe and trim for a personal fit. Probably need to open it up a little more. The struggle was finding the right fit that won’t fall off and doesn’t cut off circulation or pinch and grab. Took some doing but I got it finally. This would have cost a fortune thru trial and error if I wasn’t a machinist. This is what I did and it works great and feels great. Traction wrapping didn’t work for me. Stealth inner wear isn’t working for me. Weighted rings is the only way to prevent the turtle I’ve found for me. It definitely enhances the bulge too. I’m using dual pouch underwear so in the event their was a slip off the pouch should catch it. Thanks for the input y’all.

I have had similar struggles with weighted rings and cock coils. I also don’t seem to get how the Stealth Innerware is supposed to work. I find it hard to wear anything all day. My frenulum gets distorted and foreskin full of edema if the coil is too tight, everything seems to fall off…

I like cock and ball rings, and wearing coils behind the balls, and also off the balls.

I have started using a short coil as a clamp with amazing results.

If you invest in a coil from Stealth, get the biggest one and ask for a few extra end caps, then cut that thing up and experiment.

Yeah I’m circumcised. I messaged Stealth but no reply yet. Been tinkering with various setups since I have time on my hands and experimenting. I bought the Bath Mate originally and used it for 6 months or so until I started reading more and seeing posts saying work on length first so I discontinued using it for now. Buying the dual pouch underwear inspired me to look up how to be a shower not a grower and it’s a rabbit hole. Designing and selling PE hardware seems it would be extraordinarily difficult seeing as how everyone is different. I ordered an ADS system last month and the company has been an absolute nightmare to deal with and still haven’t received the product. So for now for all day wear I’m really digging the 2 heavy glans rings and the 2” steel ring from the hardware store. I’ve had to fiddle with the glans rings to find the sweet spot where they stay on and don’t cut off circulation but finally figured it out. I wear one all night long by itself without either of the other two. They’re heavy enough to get full stretch wearing regular boxers and will fill the whole pouch on the separation type boxers.

Everyone is built differently and I’d like to see what needs are vs anatomy. Finding PE gear that fits has been a nightmare and I’m sure others have had the same experience. Why not discuss here on the open forums so everyone can benefit from the discourse? I want something that strikes the perfect balance between smaller size and heavier weight. On another thread, someone mentioned tungsten. But it’s also devilishly hard to work with - yes? Especially if you’re not a machinist?

Why has no one thought to use an old sock or a similar material over the unit as a nonslip barrier? I do it all the time.
