Gain at young age

Hi to everyone. I recently started with PE (using the linear newbie routine), and I was wondering if starting at a young age (18 years old) would improve even more the gain from the PE.

This is a common question, without really a consensus. I am 20, started when 18 and i gained but have also experienced natural growth after stopping PE so i personally think it’s good to start young. But do it SLOW, do less than more, always listen to your PIs.

Age & PE

I didn’t start my PE journey until I was 53 years old, and I’ve made very respectable gains. However I would speculate that the earlier in life you start the more likely you will achieve your PE potential. As a 20 year old your body is still growing and your testosterone levels are peaking. You have more energy and recover much faster than a man who’s 40 - 60 years old, but it’s never too late to start a PE program!
