Does anyone else get short, minor pains/twinges in their unit that go away quick?

Does anyone else get short, minor pains/twinges in their unit that go away quick?

Hey, just wondering if this happens to other people. I am always cautious about injuring myself and try to catch any small pains or abnormal issues with my unit as early as possible. I get these small irritations/pains when handling my unit, sometimes when massaging it and sometimes when feeling around it to make sure nothing is sore or painful after a workout. it is hard to tell what it is from. They last barely any time, they are just like a slight twinge, and then they are gone and can’t be replicated. My unit feels fine besides this. It is probably skin twisting, or hair catching on something, or sometimes since I am uncut the foreskin is dry and gives a twinge when it is moving around.

They arent very common, maybe a couple of times a week I feel them but they are gone right after with no lingering pain or symptoms. I am just starting PE so my chances of injury are higher since I am not conditioned yet so I want to be as careful as possible.

So if we are talking about internal pain, not pulling hairs etc then you should always ease off/stop on first sign. Pick it up the next day and be aware of your limits. Continuing and ignoring these subtle signals can lead to injury. Personally I can feel a twinge in my ligament when doing left/right behind the leg stretches. If I do I think *crap!* and stop and leave it for a while. Jelqing is also kind of risky so you have to really pay attention to what you can feel. Bottom line is: any pain or discomfort means you should immediately stop. Happy stretching!

Thanks for the reply univ3rsal,
It is hard for me to tell if it is internal or external since it is short pain, under a second, and minor. In general an I would take an internal pain like a lig or tunica sprain more seriously than an external one like skin pinching/hair. Sometimes the foreskin is dry since i’m uncut, and moving it causes a small twinge of discomfort.

Question for you: if you have a lig twinge for example, and you stop the action that caused the twinge, can you still feel any pain/ does your unit look/feel different afterwards? For example if you lightly massage the ligament area you injured, do you feel soreness? Because after the slight twinges I feel, I stop and feel for any pain anywhere, thinking if it was a real pain I would be able to feel soreness /pain somewhere that used to feel normal. And I can’t recreate the pain.

Related question: Would it be possible to be injured in some way with your unit feeling the same and looking the same as normal? I guess if you’re not injured but overtrained, your EQ will suffer… but could you have a lig, vessel, or tunica damage without realizing it?

I may seem neurotic about it but I would much rather worry about something insignificant than miss any kind of small sign . Because some people get long lasting or maybe permanent injury from this.

Thanks for your help. Thought I only had 1 question but it was 2 lol.

Yes sometimes if my grip too strong when i do the Uli, i get a light pain that goes away quickly around my base, usually at the sides (left or right) because its where i squeeze the hardest.

I think most of the time when you feel pain its an injury, even if its a light one so ease a bit and have fun :)

Killa, I have the same question as I did for the other poster. When you get that light pain at your base, is it reproducible? I mean, can you make that same pain happen again, just to find out where you hurt yourself? For example, in the area you think is hurt, maybe either stretching in that area or massaging in that area causes some more minor pain? Just wondering.

Because I usually try to feel every part of my unit and pelvic floor after a workout, just gently, to make sure there is no pain. And after I get any minor twinges, I also try to locate where exactly I may have injured myself. So far, the minor twinges have not been reproducible.

I cant answer that because whenever i feel the pain i immediately stop touching my dick and let the pain pass away.

Well I don’t think that your foreskin really has anything to do with it. I’m uncircumcised the same as you, although I wouldn’t do dry jelqs, it’s much better with oil (if you want to jelq at all).

So after the twinge, and a second or two, there is no pain. Because I stopped super quickly and hopefully didn’t cause any lasting damage. If I immediately put it in the same stretch it would happen again. So I take my time, warm up a bit more then stretch more gently in this direction. Looks wise, it’s unchanged. So in reply to your second question, yes you could be injured but look completely normal. Serious injury you would probably see (snapped ligament, broken blood vessels, scar tissue causing bend in penis) but all injuries you feel. The goal is to have zero injuries, even minor ones. I think if you take if slow and gradual, and respond to how your body feels, you can’t go too far wrong. The most I’ve got is that twinge (not really an injury) and a broken capillary from jelqing, which was not at all painful and went away after 2-3 days.

Thanks universal, sometimes it is hard to tell if you are injured slightly.

The pain could be because you have small knots in your penile fascia, which when undone, cause slight twinges of momentary pain.

Has this happened to you dracula? I have read a number of threads on this site and have not seen this explanation before. Either way, I have not felt these twinges in some time.

Not to me personally, but fascia knots are very common all over the body The fascia is a very thin (but strong), tensile fibrous membrane that covers all of our insides including but not limited to veins, arteries, capillaries, muscles, organs etcetera.

Trauma (especially the repetitive kind like in PE) can cause the fascia to stick to itself or various tissues and cause tightening, loss of flexibility and varying degrees of pain.

My theory is that you are creating adhesions in your penile fascia from the PE you’re doing, and when they become unstuck or released, create some very quick sensations of pain.

Sure, that seems to make sense, but haven’t heard it before. But I’m familiar w/ fascia and how there can be knots in muscle that can be tense or painful, didn’t realize it could apply to PE though.
