When starting PE I had two 30 cm and one 15 cm ruler. Now I have four 30 cm, one 6 cm and one fabric measure that I cut to 30 cm and looped to make it easier to measure girth… and I’m still not satisfied with any of them.

I just can’t seem to find a nice wooden ruler where 0 starts at the base of the ruler… I know I can cut one but that’s not the point.

Size is little more than a controllable perception without an accurate means of measurement.

There is nothing wrong with measuring sitting down. The doctors don’t measure it standing up. You don’t have sex standing up (most of the time, right?).

I say measure in whatever position you like.

Because of the way my glans tapers, I found it difficult to get a good measurement. So I have a folded card that I hang over the side of the ruler as I measure. The tip of my unit will push the card to the correct measurement. A bit like a slide rule. The first time I did this I was a 1/4 inch less than I thought I was. I was bummed to say the least.

But, now I’m confident that I’m getting consistent measurements, and I have almost made up that 1/4. Keep at it.

Does anyone get the same measurement from the side as on top, I usually get pretty close to the same, at the 0.2 less on top.
