Coming Back After 9 years

Hey all I’ve been lurking this site since around 2008 and but I joined today. Let me just say thank you to all you smart people, I have so much respect and admiration and gratitude for you all. Now I want to be part of the community

Quick background:
I started off at 5.25 erect length and about 4.25 erect girth all around.

I did PE for about 2 months around 2008, not very consistent. Newbie routine. I didn’t notice really any differences. Then when I stopped for a while because I had some pains on the side of my shafts closer to the base (I am very paranoid by nature)

The next part is fuzzy but I remember looking down one day a few months after I did the exercises and realizing holy crap that’s bigger!.

I measure it and it was 4.8 at the head, 4.6 at mid shaft and 4.75 at base. I was so happy felt like I got away with the impossible!. Don’t know how it happened though because I didn’t see any gains while doing it

My flaccid hang was better, I had an enlarged vein. And my cock got that super hard feeling that we all know: Like there is an iron bar under the skin. I got no length gains though but I’m ok with that. I understand it’s all about girth anyway

Fast forward to 2017:
Gains have remained. But I want more girth.

For the past 3 weeks have been doing 3 exercises to condition and improve my smooth muscle:
-Base blasters,
-Taffy pulls
-Kegel stretches

For girth I do:
-Very light Ulis and squeezes (all at no more than 60%erection)

I tried doing jelqs again but I just don’t like how they feel. I turtle after and I get pain. These smooth muscle/girth squeezes gives me positive indicators and no pain. I really kind of just want to avoid them in general because I am afraid of injury

My questions
-Is my routine ok?
-Should I start again with the Newbie routine or is my cock conditioned enough?
- Are Jelqs necessary? I got gains in the first place pretty much by jelqs and stretching but I don’t like them. Can I substitute the squeezes for them?
-I feel that Jelqs have a greater chance to cause injury than squeezes do. I have no idea if this is correct honestly, just by feeling. By injury I mean tearing and scarring of smooth muscle in CC causing it to never fill up right in that spot

Lastly, thank you all. I have been on this site for a while listening quietly and you all. And you all are amazing and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping me to do the impossible

Welcome to Thunders! Sounds like you have a good grasp of the problem (pun intended).

I think the most important thing that will help you make good progress is heat. Heat softens up your ligs and septum, making them easier to stretch. Be sure to warm up before and during your routine, and you’ll see gains.

Live long and prosper.

Thanks for the insight Ernie!

So just to clarify, is it ok for me to do the ULI’s and squeezes? Or should I start with the newbie routine all over again to recondition?
