Hey guys,

I’m pumping for a few months now and I have seen some little gains. But I’ve got one problem. When I’m leaving the bathmate I’m quite big, but this expansion vanishes after a few minutes. If tested both short+intense and long sessions with less pressure and I feel like after the long sessions the expansion stays a bit longer. Do you have any tips how I can keep the post pump expansion longer?

“I just learned the importance of stretching

I never did it before because I assumed my BathMate would suffice as a warm-up before jelqing. I would use the BM for 10 minutes, then jelq for 10 minutes, and continue this process for an hour. After about two weeks of this with very little results (talking about immediately after I finish), I decided to replace a round of jelqing and pumping with stretching instead, as well as one at the end (first one is immediately after pumping, one halfway through.)

I measured an increase of 1/4” in girth (5” to 5-1/4”), which is what I’m mainly going for - and it seemed to have stayed that way until the morning when I woke up with the hardest erection I’ve had in a very long time. The bastard stayed up through an entire five rounds of measurements to make sure I wasn’t doing something wrong. Possibly just from excitement. This morning, it measured just under 5-1/4”. I’m sure it won’t stay that way, and I will have to keep working it to make the results permanent, but this was a huge deal for me and I just wanted to share in case anyone else also felt that stretching wasn’t as important as it actually is. I’m sure I’m not the only one.”

Seriously, if you aren’t stretching, try it. I do three 10 minute stretch sessions throughout my workout. I begin by stretching straight downward (6 o’clock) and counting down from 10. Then I stretch to the 4:30 position, count 10 seconds. Then move to 3 o’clock, 10s, then 1:30, and so on. Once I finish the 7:30 stretch, I start from 12 and work clockwise the same way. I noticed a huge difference.

That’s about it. I would add a 10 min stretch in the middle as well. If you decide to give it a try, let me know if you notice a difference.

Edit: keep in mind the first pumping session was with warm water in a BathMate and is just intended to warm it up before the initial stretch. All pumping after is meant for gains.

That’s a good workout and the bathmate is not useless anymore. The point with the bathmate is to use it as an warm up tool and as an amplifier between sets and have main focus on manual exercises. And heat is just good to get between sets and a surprising bonus under vacuum upon it.

There are many ways to expand the tissue. Like clamping or jelqing. Both directly target the tissue. stretch it and fill it.

Pumping is rather one dimensional in what it does. pulling fluid and tissue into the vaccuum.
A simple jelq has much more impact.

The bathmate is also not easy to check for how much pressure one uses.

So we use the bathmate in combination with other exercises. Exercises creating an imapct and bathmate filling the exercised tissue with blood.

This is a big problem. For safety reasons, I only pump until I feel moderate suction. I learned quickly that the BathMate is not as effective for gains as it is for warming up in conjunction with stretches. I always use warm water, so relaxing in the bath tub and reading a book or watching YouTube videos for an hour is perfect for a 1-hour workout.

I get it now. I “stimulate” tissue to fill the vacuum, but I don’t push the tissue itself. Makes sense.

Well, I will rearrange my bathmate use from now on. Thank you.

There is a zone where you push the tissues too with pumping. Thats what the succesfull pumpers on TP do and what extreme pumpers dont do.
But with the bathmate its hard to find that zone cause there is no gauge to pinpoint it.

The zone btw. seems to be with rather low hg/pressure vaccuum.

But even if you find it its still a one dimensional approach.

For me its mostly not either/or but both. A multidimensional approach to PE. stretch, jelq, pump and clamp.

Yeah, I agree with you. There is no magic trick, multi approach, learning and experimenting. Thanks for the explanation.

I think bm would be more effective if used for closing a session, then.
Tried to use it as a warm-up, but I tend to get excited and masturbate in turn. Haha
