Lately I have been doing a stretch routine for about 15 minutes and after I jelq for 5-10 minutes or use an ads for 30-40 minutes. The past few days I have a hard time getting it up when I masturbate, once it is up it stays up but it just takes a bit longer to get it there than usual. When I did alot of jelqing a few months ago I noticed the same thing. The past few days however I have gotten morning wood and random wood during the day. It seems the PE is making it hard to achieve an erection but not keep it. I’m not sure if I should worry about this or not. Has anyone experienced this? I havent had any negative PI’s and my flaccid has been bigger lately.

I get this from time to time and I take it as a warning that I am close to over doing it. I usually pull back a little bit after this happens to me.

When I keep up at that pace for a few days, it seems to take longer to achieve a good erection.

If you’re getting morning wood, random wood during the day, and better flaccid, it sounds like you are on the right track. SparkyX has put forth the theory in the past that some members need moderate stress to grow. Too much stress is bad, of course, and can lead to no growth, but you have to have enough stress for growth to occur.

And Random Giant is right, and that is another way to test where you are on the stress scale. Take a day or two off, and see what that does to your EQ ( Warning! If you haven’t gotten improved erections: ). If you’re stressing your unit just enough, but not too much, you should rebound fairly quickly.

Yea I usually take the weekend off, and it seems better already. One more question guys, I want to slowly increase my routine. Would it be better to increase the routine and keep the same days, or same routine increase amount of days per week?

You have asked a very good question.

And the answer is… it depends. There is no one answer. Only you can answer that question. Once you move beyond the basics, HOW you increase your routine depends on how your body reacts. You can monitor that through the measuring tape and ruler, your PIs and your EQ.

Some members swear by rest days, and would not cut them out for anything. Others think that rest days are overrated. We can’t answer whether you could keep the same routine and increase the number of days per week (cutting down on your rest days) and have it work for you. You will know once you try it.

I would probably increase the routine and keep the same days, but I’ve been known to skip taking a rest day if things are going well, or take an early, unscheduled rest day if I’m feeling fatigued.

Thanks for the input lampwick, I think ill keep the rest days and increase the routine for now. Basically I’m PEing Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, so 3 days a week gives you plenty rest time. Ill see how it plays out and report back.

It has also been mentioned here and I do believe it to be true, that what you are going through can be a sign of growth. The body holds so much blood and if your penis has grown the body has to adjusts to it and so does the amount of blood that fills your penis. I will do a search on this thread because it gets into great detail and makes a lot of sense.
