Air Clamp

Did anyone pick up where PE Weights dropped off at with the air clamp? I want one.

Always wanted one but hate buying stuff from overseas.
Saw another thread not long ago where someone else didnt got through.

I always thought I might try creating one myself with silicone. I want a clamp that I can use through the pants during the day to “clamp up” without need to drop the pants.

I feel like I could probably make one.

I’ve considered making one. It appears it is just a baby blood pressure cuff modified to keep the pressure from expanding outward. Not sure how he did that or which size cuff. Not sure I want to trial and error the thing as of yet.

Non expansive material on the outside and some on top and below?

I would like it to be much narrower. It’s too wide for my liking from the pics.
I might just buy a baby cuff and go from there..

Any idea if its possible to rework/cut the cuff like shown in attached picture?

I guess I would have to sow or glue it back together. Not sure if thats possible.

Or maybe I jsut fold it one time and keep it in place with some more sturdy material that prevents the cuff from expanding otuside and up/down.

I guess the length of 10cm/8in is already good. I assume you can overpla the velcro a bit when applying?

Looks like you could get some kind of epoxy to reseal the air bladder, and sewing something this small wouldn’t take long at all. I will look into some cheap ones and give it a shot.

Keep us updated. Will get 2-3 too and try some with them.

What will use to push the air in? I feel like the ones with a gauge are a bit OP for our aim.

I also wonder if there is a possiblity to release air in increments. I plan to use it “on the go”

What ever happened to peweights? Is there any way to get some air clamps? Willing to pay premium.
