Premature Ejacualation Treatment

Years ago I took Zoloft every day. I noticed a side effect. It eliminated all of my problems with premature ejaculation.
I went from being a “2 minute man” to a “2 hour man.” Eventually, I couldn’t orgasm at all. I finally stopped taking Zoloft due to other side effects like sleeping problems, twitching, etc.

Anyway, I sure do miss those days of being a Sexual Superman. I was on Zoloft the first time I had sex and the girl refuses to believe I was a virgin even today.

I would like to find a drug like Zoloft that would give me super sexual stamina without the other side effects.
Does anyone have any ideas?

I agree you shouldn’t take Zoloft unless you have to, but I sure do miss the beneficial side effects.
Interestingly, my sexual stamina remained for 6 months after I stopped the drug.
First, I started orgasming again after 90 minutes of intercourse. After two months without Zoloft it went down to an hour. After four months, 45 minutes, etc. At 6 months it took me about 30 minutes, which is just the right amount of time. At 9 months I was back to suffering my premature ejaculation problems :(

My doctor said Zoloft has a short half life and isn’t responsible for the long time it took me to get back to normal. He feels my body had conditioned itself to longer periods of intercourse and that’s why it took so long for me to return to normal.

Peter, what dosage were you taking? My wife just started on 25mg. I want it to help her PMS, but not kill her sex drive. Her doctor said the dose is low enough that her sex life shouldn’t be effected. I don’t believe it.

I can’t remember, but I think it was 50 mg that made me last forever in bed.
The doctor suggested I try 25 mg to reach the proper balance. He feels 25 mg may allow me to go for 30 minutes without ejaculating instead of 2-3 hours.

It takes a woman a long time to reach orgasm anyway. If Zoloft affected her the same way it affected me then she would never orgasm.

I’m beginning to think that an SSRI for my wife is just a bad idea, but life without an SSRI can be real hell sometimes. It is a tough situation.

I think it’s time to become a monk. Women are often too much work ;)
