Bad Reaction to Cialis?

I took 25 mg liquid Cialis (maybe a bit more as the dropper was pretty full) on Friday afternoon. Had great wood Friday night as planned. Have been in agony ever since.

From the middle of by back down to the the back of my knees my muscles have been in a constant and extremely painful aching state. I mean muscle pain unlike I’ve ever had before even after the most strenuous exercise.

It’s now Monday morning and I still ache.

I am prone to muscle pain when I take C or V but this is unlike anything I’ve experienced. I’ve not taken C in a month or two but last time I took 25 mg it was fine.

Anyone know whats going on?

Interestingly enough the only relief I’m getting is from percosets and/or very hot baths although 5 minutes after the bath the pain returns.

First of all you are taking 5 mg more then the maximum recommended dose. In the future, I would back it down to more like 15 mg.

I have had luck with ibuprofen (Advil) to relieve my Cialis ache, but I have never taken 25 mg.

I had terrible lower back pain from taking Liquid Cialis aswell, but not the Cialis in pill form. I can’t explain it. But i was taking it every couple of day for two or three months straight. I’ve recently been taking the liquid form again for about two months now and haven’t had any problems yet. I beleive that my body has become more accustomed to it now. Also, the longer one takes it, it seems as if it works more naturally and not that raging boner that wont go away type of reaction that i originally got with it.

You have overdosed.

Liquid Cialis (I assume from kitsnmore) is Liquid Tadalafil at 30mg per 1 ml. If you took more than 1 ml, well… you do the math. The amount of 30 mg/1ml also assumes that you shook the bottle up thoroughly and didn’t push the dropper to the bottom of the glass. This liquid version settles at the bottom, so it’s quite possible to get more than the advertised 30 mg / 1 ml if you’re not careful.

Who knows how much you took?

In the future I’d say err on the side of caution: shake the bottle thoroughly, until you see all the sediment has cleared from the bottom (usually about 60 - 90 seconds of good shaking) and get a dropper that has a 1 ml measure printed on it, and take about half (ie .5 ml).

You should be fine after a week or so. Don’t take any in the meantime. Obviously if the problem persists seek medical help and let them know what you took and approximately how much.

I would report this to your doctor. Next time use 1/2 the amount. Or don’t use Cialis at all.
