And for women, the urinary system is not connected to the reproductive system*, so I don’t see what benefit there’s meant to be in pissing after sex. The main reason for a woman to go the bathroom after sex is just to clean up so as to avoid having a vagina full of stale semen.

*cue long and tedious debate about the nature of female ejaculation…

Pissing after sex won’t keep you from getting an infection. I always piss after sex, something about having an erection for a while makes me need to. I’ve caught more than my share of STI’s over the years anyways.

It’s not absolutely necessary to pee (and if you don’t need to go it doesn’t mean you need to stress about it ;) ), nor is it a foolproof way to avoid STDs. But it helps reduce the risk of UTI. As genitals, bladders and urethras are so close to one another, it’s easy for bacteria to travel around.

Yeah, I guess so. I always have a very thorough wash with antibacterial soap afterwards, usually pee as well I guess. As I hope does anyone else whose tastes run this way.

Touch wood, but in 8 years of more or less semi-regularly fucking girlfriends in the arse, I’ve yet to have an infection. I guess condoms would reduce the chance to zero, but there is something uniquely satisfying about giving the woman you love a nice generous buttfull of jizm. :)

I’m a hypocrite here, seeing I haven’t seen a condom in 15 years. I’d recommend using one for anal. Prostatitis isn’t very pleasant and according to my doctor, that’s probably how I got it. It goes away after medication, but if you don’t have a doctor who’s been there and done that they’ll write it off as some STD until the tests come back negitive. Almost threw the wife out thinking she was fucking around!
