Whiter eyes

Whiter eyes

Hi there.
I bought myself some of those eye brightening/tired eyes eye drops to be a bit extra covert about my occasional special smoking. OK so they work even when you are tired and you use them and 5 minutes later your eyes aren’t covered in red veins.

What I did notice was that the whites of my eyes weren’t that white anyway.. They were a little bit dull. I used the same drops about 3 years ago and remember them being a lot whiter than they were the other day.

Is there anything like supps or whatever that make your eye whites whiter (lol that sounds funny)?

I take cod liver every day and a multi a-z vitamin and mineral too.
What else can I take or that I might not be getting enough of that would make my eyes whiter?

Thanks for your time dudes.

Here is a little info I found concerning too much vitamin A or possibly liver disease and yellow eye whites:

Some researchers have found that large amounts of Vitamin A can prevent the development of cancer in epithelial cells and yet other researchers have found the opposite is true. But, if you take large quantities of Vitamin A, your skin and even the whites of your eyes can turn yellow when your body stores for Vitamin A become saturated. If this happens, discontinue the vitamin A supplements and the yellow coloring in the whites of your eyes, palms of your hands and soles of your feet will go away in a few months. If the whites of a person’s eyes are yellow and not caused by Vitamin A supplements, they could have liver disease like cirrhosis and should see their doctor immediately.

I’ve heard that a drop of lemon juice in each eye will make them brighter…seriously.

I cannot imagine that being a good idea. I can imagine the acidity of the juice to cause your eyes to get red and sting.

Thank you guys.

I read something about lemon juice being good as well. Just a bit reticent to try it.. Lol

I’m just thinking there might be something else.

Beast, check the vitamin content of your “cod liver oil.” Frequently this is dangerously high in vitamin A (and various pollutants). Stick with fish oil from the bodies (not exclusively the liver) of fish.

OH!

Yes I will, thanks for picking up on that Para.
