Is it possible to get a Viagra prescription online in the US ?

If not, what’s the least embarrassing way I can ask my physician for one ?

Why would be embarrassing to ask? First, you need to asses if you need a drug for erection. It depends on age, hormones, diet, lifestyle, etc.

I too have been looking for a way to get it. I don’t have any erection issues, and I am in my 30s so I don’t think I can get it prescribed. But, I would like to try it just once to see how it feels. If anything I think it would be fun to chase the wife around the house for a few hours with it :)

Ask your doctor for a sample to test it out. You can just say you had/ are having occasional issues and want to see if the blue pill will help. Or you just want a bit more confidence for date night. He may offer samples of the other PDE5 drugs. Some docs (not all) have an issue with recreational use for that class of drugs.

Personally, I tried all 3 to determine which worked best for me. Levitra gives me massive headache, red face and congestion. Viagra works for me but must be taken 30 min before use and only lasts 4 hrs. Cialis is best for me and is more user friendly. It lasts 36 hrs and has the added benefit of treating/preventing BPH.

Doctors don’t give a shit. Just ask for it. When I asked for viagra, he leaned over and whispered, try Cialis, we’re all on it.

This is pretty much right. My wife does this all the time—for her own meds. But like the OP, I find it hard to do this. I still have this illusion that doctors should provide guidance, not patients guiding the doctor.

I think you’re still getting a prescription. They just help you circumvent it with these online pharmacists (i.e., the “few questions”). I doubt a legit chain would try to operate outside of legal restrictions. Telehealth is so seamless that you may not even know you’re getting a prescription.
