So I’ve been trying to eat healthier and I’m thinking of replacing my morning oats with Quinoa, and I’ve read that -1 can be acquired through eating this incredible product. This has made me curious if this can be applied towards PE as well as general health. Requesting if anyone in this community is taking this as a supplement or anything related and tell me how it has affected your gains in PE or your health in general (I’ve been a dedicated weightlifter since Jan’ 2012).

What is the relationship between Quinoa and insulin?

A study at the University of Lund in Sweden found that quinoa increased the level of insulin like growth hormone factor-1 (IGF-1), which is essential for mass and strength gains. Quinoa is also an excellent source of iron, which is important for optimal energy levels, and is rich in magnesium, which works alongside calcium to regulate muscle tone. Quinoa is beneficial in all diets but especially vegetarian and vegan diets that may be lacking in quality protein sources and iron.

^^^ Just saw this yesterday so I’m not too up to date, but it sounds like Quinoa increases IGF-1. It could also be broscience, but I’m willing to give quinoa a chance.

Exercise increases IGF-1 sharply.

Synthetic IGF-1 with the LR3 chain attached is widely available on the internet as well. Some sites are scams, though.

So I’m guessing that IGF-1 would help aid growth in smooth muscle of the penis, but I would have to question whether it would be a significant difference in taking the supplement vs. non supplemented. Would it be better to naturally aid PE with daily exercise and eating healthy? I believe this to be true, also i’m going to start incorporating quinoa into my diet every morning just to see if I notice a change in muscle behavior.( this includes Penis muscles and every other muscle :) ) If quinoa supposedly increases IGF-1 it would be an interesting find, but i’m skeptic about it. So we will see

Exercise and eating healthy generally increase EQ and overall penile health, but I doubt it will give you real gains our of cell proliferation. Eating quinoa an exercising is a good idea though.

I don’t think you’ll get anywhere without injecting IGF-1 into the penis with a cock ring on, though.

Just a good source of aminos (has all 9) and a complex carb. Work it into the diet. Eating often and hitting heavy compound lifts raise IGF.

I don’t do olympic style lifting, just the big three, followed by full body hypertrophy exercises. Nothing advanced just basic weightlifting right now

If you’re planning on using injectable IGF-1 for penis growth, don’t waste your time. Even the argument “inject with a cock ring on” doesn’t hold water how you would expect it to. Injectable IGF-1 has to be processed by the liver before it can be used by the body’s receptors. Though IGF-1 has a reputation for “site enhancement” this is largely a myth. This myth usually goes “inject it into a muscle group post workout to enhance growth”. Results-wise this appears to be true. But the location of the shot doesn’t matter. When a muscle is exercised the receptors are more active, and may respond better to IGF-1 at that time. But the method by which the IGF-1 gets there doesn’t change. It has to be processed by the liver, and THEN carried by the blood to the receptor sites.

IGF-1 results are systemic, not local. Just keep that in mind. Hope that helps.

As for healthier changes in your diet- great for overall health, so I’d say it’s good for your penis health too.

IGF-1 does not have to be processed by the liver before the body can respond to it. I think you’re thinking of HGH. HGH is metabolized in the liver into various growth factors, one being IGF-1. There are plenty of accounts on the internet of rh IGF-1 with no chain attached and DES (1-3) IGF-1 causing localized muscle growth. It does also go systemic though, and IGF-1 LR3 has a long half-life and will end up affecting your entire body. But IGF-1 LR3 will still bind properly to receptors in the smooth muscle of the penis, anecdotally most effectively if circulation is temporarily restricted.

Yes, I was ABSOLUTELY thinking about IGF-1 resulting from HGH injections (the HGH has to be processed by the liver, etc. as stated). I apologize. It has been a long few days (hardly any sleep), and it has been awhile since I have dealt directly with HGH and associated peptides.

Pure IGF-1 (or LR3, etc.) will bind without being processed by the liver first (assuming receptors are present in the target tissues). I immediately thought back to a guy who was talking about injecting HGH directly into his penis.

Do remember to keep your dosages low. Whatever is taken up by the receptors is taken up, and what’s left goes to the rest of the body. Keep in mind that your intestines have a high concentration of IGF-1 receptors, so too high of a dosage will likely serve to give you a larger gut. IGF-1 can’t stimulate growth in areas with no IGF-1 receptors, so keep that in mind when/if experimenting.

Good advice here. I’m with you on how you described receptor binding.

I believe there was also an old log on this forum from stagestop (might have been someone else) who was doing IGF-1 straight to the penis. He was doing a considerable dosage, and eventually noticed prostate discomfort. When he lowered his dosage, he was ok. Everyone was pretty convinced it was because his prostate was growing in response to the IGF-1, so I think that it might have something to do with corpus IGF-1 receptors being occupied and then the IGF-1 going and binding to other tissues. Like one that is closeby in the circulatory system, the prostate. That’s speculative, though.

stagestop’s experience goes to show that IGF-1 is a serious matter, though. And like you said, the intestines have lots of IGF-1 receptors. Huge gut growth is well documented in bodybuilders that use a lot of IGF-1 and HGH.

I think that people should only go to IGF-1 after having reasonably exhausted all manual exercises. Even then, PGE-1 is more established as an effective chemical to experiment with.
