Whether or not 17 is post-purbertal is in question.

The authors theorized that the penile skin looses its ability to convert T to DHT, and thinks thats the reason why younger ones responded better.

Why not just get topical DHT? I have used it to increase libido
and it works pretty well. Haven’t really put it on my penis,
though.

Jones8315;

This is so easy and you as an academic should know how to do it. All that is required is that you accurately summarize the information from the study, give attributes (that is, who conducted the study and where the rest of us can read the total work), and you are done and blameless.

There are some highly-educated members here but that does not make us, in any way, a scientific community. We are interested in getting bigger dicks, safely and sanely. You don’t help me, for example, by alluding to studies you refuse to reference.

We are a serious group and we do like our information to be clear and accurate. You can help by making your own information more accessible - or quit talking.

I did a search on “micropenis” and DHT. This looked relevant
to our discussion:

http://content.karger.com/ProdukteD…e.asp?Doi=48115
“Background: Percutaneous administration of dihydrotestosterone (DHT) has been successful in promoting phallic growth in infants and children with 5-reductase deficiency raised as males. We investigated whether percutaneous administration of DHT is similarly effective in patients with micropenis due to alternative diagnoses. Methods: Six patients (age range 1.9-8.3 years) with micropenis of variable etiology were studied prospectively. 2.5% DHT gel was applied to the phallus once daily at a dose of 0.15-0.33 mg/kg body weight. Serum DHT concentrations were measured at 0, 2, 4, 8, 12 and 24 h following application of DHT gel. Results: Peak DHT concentrations were attained within 2-8 h after application of the gel and subsequently remained within the normal adult range in all but 1 patient, who had received the lowest dose of 0.15 mg/kg. An increase in phallic growth, ranging from 0.5-2.0 cm, was achieved after 3-4 months of treatment in all patients whose DHT concentrations were maintained within adult range. Conclusion: Percutaneous administration of DHT in a dose of 0.2-0.3 mg/kg once daily for a period of 3-4 months may be useful in the management of patients with testosterone biosynthetic defects, who have sufficient masculinization to warrant male sex assignment, or in patients with micropenis prior to reconstructive surgery.”

My comments:
Note that the dose was a function of the person’s weight in
kilograms. My doctor has me using 1.7cc (about 13% of the
dose given above for my body weight). I’d have to use 7
times my prescription on DHT to get the equivalent of what
they used above. This stuff isn’t cheap!

You already have DHT in your system. They dont. I am not saying to do it. I dont think thats such a good idea just for proximity to the prostate.

Very good point, Cya at 8.

If it ain’t broke, does it need fixing, homonally?

I don’t believe you have read this thread. We have already posted the summary. There, you can find how this study was done, and who conducted it. I also have already said where you can find this study.

If I have already done what you ask, then why did you make that post. It seems like a waste of time.

biggerandbetter: DHT is a controlled substance. It is also very very expensive.

Check this one out!!! Finally some testing on postpubertal males!!

Average penile growth response with gonadotropin was 14.3% increase in length and 5.0% increase of girth. Topical testosterone produced an average increase of 60% in penile length and 52.9% in girth. The greatest growth response occurred in prepubertal male subjects with a minimal response in postpubertal male subjects. This study suggests that 10% topical testosterone cream twice daily will produce effective penile growth. The response appears to be greater in younger children, which is consistent with previously published studies of age-related 5 reductase activity.

We then proceeded to discuss the one post-pubertal subject.

Anyways, its time to get back on track. Does anyone whose doing this like to report anything?

I have read the thread and responded to it a number of times; that is clear.

It seems that your source is unaccessible. That leaves us with your word only. Not nearly enough for me, on this very arguable subject.

What do you say, Jones, to those younger men, still fertile and wanting children in their futures (and bigger dicks) to an unprofessionally supervised leap into hormonal change?

Low risk?

Very scary to me, and I am not even looking to make kids.

Talk about that some and I may listen harder.

If you cannot take me on my word, then that is your desiscion.

“What do you say, Jones, to those younger men, still fertile and wanting children in their futures… ?”

I would say have a good life. In low, cycled doses, prohormones do not cause impotence. Fact. There are hundreds of medical studies confirming this. Every study on micropenis, every study on androgel, every study on testosterone replacement confirms this. Or, you can go into a bb forum and ask who got impotent from 4AD. Nobody has.

If I thought people would be responsible, I would say to go for it. Unfortunately, I dont see that people would. I worry about guys going off the end and overdosing.

In terms of “if it aint broke then dont fix it” I would say that this would also be true with Finasteride. So I would agree on that. I still believe that the workout itself is a healthy thing as long as it is done responsibly. I only really worry for those who are told to pull harder if they dont gain. That isnt very good advice either.

This is a science experiment for me. In the time I will do this, my chances of great deal of side effects are lower than what was posted. Many of those things are long term side effects.

I have spent countless hours learning about how to cycle and the duration as I suggested everyone else do as well. How many listened to me? I dont know……

Who is talking about impotence?

Impotence and Fertility are two totally, usually unrelated conditions.

I am addressing Fertility, having already talked about impotence and the importance of treating hypygonadism with TRT in the care of a knowledgeable physician.

I’d like you to say more about fertility. Do these tryers of the Experiment take a risk of ending up infertile, or no? If the testes shut down, where do they go from there, I would like to know.

Thanks. I know it’s an anti-inflammatory. I discerned that from the link I included. My son’s penis isn’t inflammed. The cream also helps reduce itching, and it’s a vasoconstrictor.

But I looked around some more and found it wouldn’t have any applications for PE. It’s prescribed for phimosis (unretracted foreskin) because the steroid apparently makes the skin thinner. When combined with a little massaging it makes the skin at the tip of the foreskin slowly stretch down and around the glans, thus “curing” the problem.

The reason it didn’t work for my son is we didn’t have him manipulate his foreskin back and forth over his glans when he was using the cream. We’ll go see that urologist again in a few weeks, and I’m going to propose that we try it again, but this time she needs to teach him how to rub it in — or basically how to jerk off. It should be interesting.

It sure is, C III in fact. Do you recall reading about the fact that a doctor
has prescribed it for me? So, it’s not a problem.

Oh… ok, then yeah, its just as good if not better then 4AD for topical penile growth.

Gotcha. Try not to cause long term phych problems.

Infertility? Ive never read anything saying responsible topical androgens use causes that. In contrast, to achieve fertility is the reason the cream was used on the people micropenis.
