I’m studying like crazy, eat proper food and stuff but I can’t seem to remember my lessons that much. is there a vitamin/supplement that can help?

Acetyl-L-Carnitine 500mg is suppose to be very good for memory.

I haven't failed, I've found 10,000 ways that don't work. Thomas Edison (1847-1931)

I love the combination of pircatem and choline, though if in the US you will probably have to get Piracetam from a foreign source. I buy the powder and pill it up myself.

UberGoober

6-22-08: 7.5' BPEL, 7' NBPEL, 7.75' BPSFL, 5.25' EG

Goals: 8' NBPEL, 6' EG, 21' NBPSFL

A basic multi.plus whatever you wish to throw in there.

I take a multi from NOW foods called Special One

I used to take some stuff that really helped. I can’t remember what it’s called right now, but when I do, I’ll post it here.

I thought it was intentional, and very funny.

Going for 6 inches of girth, wish me luck.

Ginko Biloba plus St. John’s wort, both in tincture form from the health food store. Take the Ginko at double the reccomended doseage and take them both three times a day morning-noon-night on an empty stomach. The BEST Ginko is “Yarrow” brand 50:1 extract which is concentrated and will start to work it’s way into your brain MUCH more quickly than most other brands. you can find it in the Memory/Mental clarity section of your nearest Whole Foods supplement aisle. It has a yellow label with a green Ginko leaf on it. It’s the fucking gold standard, trust me, the fog will lift.

Fish oil and B vitamins are especially beneficial for your memory.

Solid suggestions.

I used to have trouble concentrating in college and I would just reach for caffeinated drinks. This was a big mistake as all they did was make me more jittery and less able to focus!

Perhaps you just have a very demanding course load at the moment and your memory would otherwise be fine but is a little overwhelmed at the moment.

I finally went to a campus counselor who issued several written “tests” and told me I had a mild form of ADHD. The medications frighten me though as they all have sexual side effects plus dry mouth and possibly hair loss and stomach cramping.

After reading this thread, I think I might try the gingko / St. John’s wort suggestion. I used to take a dietary supplement called Ripped Fuel which contained St. John’s wort and I definitely felt more focused!

Lion’s Mane mushroom , check it out .

Much better than Gingko .
