Ashwagandha

Woke up hard this morning. Cool

Great news BPTony :)

Again this morning and had a good load on board. lol

Ashawaghanda

Ashawaghanda is used primarily to control stress but for older guys like me (I’m 55) who have no problem getting an erection, it helps to keep the maximum amount of blood in the penile cavities. Before I used Ashawaghanda I got raging erections that lost their hardness after 30-45minutes. I have taken six 250mg tabs an hour or so before sex and had and maintained a rock hard erection for over two hours. Plus it along with Shiljat and Maca dramatically increases your sperm and semen out put.

I am about halfway through my bottle and don’t notice a difference. Bigger doses seem to make me tired but not sure that is the entire cause. Might work for some but my experience would suggest you tread warily.

Ashawaghanda is not for erections or anything of the kind Ashwaghanda is an adaptogenic herb it relaxes the main nervus system and in a way it may help with erections but if you have had raging erections with it you then may have another problem and I suggest you see a doctor

One year later, are any of you still taking this?
What led me here was that I stumbled across this article: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3863556/
It says that in a placebo controlled study, men experienced a “53% increase in semen volume.” However, the participants were “Forty-six male patients with oligospermia (sperm count < 20 million/mL semen)” so the participants had unusually low levels to begin with.
As with many supplements, they often help if you’re deficient somewhere but can have no effect if you’re otherwise healthy.

It is described as an “aphrodisiac” in this article. So that got me wondering what people’s experiences were.
As of the the activity on this thread a year ago, it seems like there were mixed experiences.

Thanks.

Tried some last night and was extremely hard, and this morning.

Placebo possibly.

Began December 2009 at 5 7/8" length and 5" girth.

As of December 5th 2012 7 3/8" BPEL and 6 1/8" base girth.

Going for the magic 8"x6"

An other possibility is they added pde5 inhibitors to the supplement.

Was it advertised as a sexual / erction enhancer for the declining man?

Difficult to say, but three days in aND I’m rocking!

I ordered some from pipingrock.com. I’ll comment in a week or two after I’ve tried it.

Thanks.

Another week on and I’ve had continued energy increases in bed and on the soccer field.

Still possibly placebo.

I’m finding myself increasingly tired during the day this week.

I think the Ashwaganda is amping me up so substantially that I’m going harder at everything and so subsequently I’m more tired.

Perhaps it’s good to cycle this stuff and give you time to recover?

“Ashwagandha should definitely be rotated or cycled. Apparently the receptors can become acclimated to ashwagandha’s effect. Combined with theanine, ashwagandha doesn’t seem to have an increased effect on relaxation. In fact, combining too many anxiolytics or stress-reducers can make you more sleepy or overly relaxed — no good if you have people to see or things to do.”

Please do not take internet as a google doctor
