Any Tongkat Ali from a trusted seller?

I am a 6’2,” 225lb; middle-aged man with ED. My physician says I’m in excellent health considering my age. I am about to start taking Tongkat Ali (TA) extract (1:200 @ 300mg) to see if a natural boost in my body’s testosterone levels will help with my ED issues. I have no experience with TA use or cycles on or off and would appreciate some feed back from experienced/veteran TA users (no offence to those who have tried TA and did not like it or continue it’s use).

What I would like to know is what worked best ‘for you’ to get optimal results without any negative side effects?

What cycle did you settle with?
Days on/ days off?
Weeks on/weeks off?
Months on/months off?
Dosage/strength of TA?

Each individual’s TA experience and motivation for use will be subjective and for different reasons however, your input will be of great value so please, elaborate.

I take Source Naturals brand. It’s a 100:1, 80mg pill that I take twice a day. My usual cycle lasts 8 weeks with a 4 week break in between. I believe the Source Naturals brand is quite good.

I use my 4 week break from the Tongkat, to do a Tribulus extract cycle. The Tribulus extract is a 750 mg, 40% saponins pill. My boners have been so hard it kinda hurts :)

I also take nettle root extract and celery root extract at the same time - so there is some synergistic effects re: the control of DHT and aromatase conversion of free testosterone.. Plus Kre-Alkalyn tablets 2x3 times a day.

To answer you questions though,

EQ = Excellent,
Aggressiveness = lol.. that’s me anyway, however there is certainly a small increase in acne levels on back etc.
Sleep = no change, though I am getting up earlier and feel more fully rested.
Overall effects = I do a split body routine 2 days on, 1 off, 2 days on, 2 off - I am definately able to maintain form with higher weights. In addition the most pronounced effect has been the loss of visceral/abdominal fat levels over the past few months despite diet etc. In the past I was unable to make any inroads despite being quite careful with my diet. The fat has literally fallen off me in the intervening period since being on this particular stack.

I am going to have a full blood work done soon for a baseline, (and for health reasons - I’m 47) -I will report back as to the results..

Thanks for responding. Isn’t Tribulus also a T booster? I thought the on/off cycle from TA or any T booster was intended to normalize our metabolism from T overload and possible tolerance build-up; wouldn’t the combo of two T boosters back to back nullify and contradict normalization?

Do you credit your EQ to the TA or both TA & TT? Knowing that your EQ is that good is ‘very’ encouraging.

I appreciate your input, I’m very new to the idea of natural supplements for T increase so Nettle Root/Celery Root/Aromatase Conversion/Kre-Alkalyn as enhancers are things I will need to study up on before I can truly understand. Sorry for my ignorance here.

Since I’ve been learning about TA and natural T boosting in general I’ve come across contradicting information. I’ve read that TA enhances EQ and I’ve read that it only enhances Libido, I’ve read that it should only be taken in the morning because of it’s stimulant affect disrupts sleep patterns, I have also read that it is not a stimulant, I’ve read that it may cause water retention and bloating and I’ve read that it will reduce body fat. So, I am confused at this point. One thing stands out though, what I hear from ‘actual users,’ such as yourself and TLM, are consistent reports of positive/beneficial effects toward what I’m looking for, namely ED recovery. Losing body fat would be like icing on the ED cake!

Thanks to both of you for providing personal information for me. It will certainly help my thougt process during my trial TA adventure; I’ll post again from time-to-time with progress reports. The way that I take tonkat ali is:
Monday thru Friday on
Saturday and Sunday off. I take one capsule at 9:00 a.m. and another at 4:00 p.m.

This cycle works for me because it is very easy to keep track of (no calender required), the herbs effects begin to diminish by the end of the second day off. By the middle of the first day back on , the effects are easily felt again.

The reason I take the capsules on a split schedule daily is that I have found that from the time that I take the capsule , the effects reach their full effect 5 hours later, and last an additional 7 to 9 hours. By taking the second capsule at the time stated, I am able to extend the effects pretty much for a full 24 hours.

After 2 months on I take 2 weeks off. The benefits I have received from taking this herb are enhanced libido, and erection quality. Specifically regarding erection quality, the glans inflates easily, a benefit not present with my use of tribulus (tribestan), arginine, cialis, or viagra. It is much easier for me to maintain weight while taking tonkat and muscularity is more defined without any effort on my part.The PC Muscle is very responsive when taking this herb , making kegels easy to do.

Please consider that these details are just on guy’s experience and most importantly we must pay close attention to our body’s responses or lack of and judge for ourselves what works best for us.Many times in my own case this means a lot of research, trial and error, and repeating the same missteps a couple of times and then, rarely I get something right.

I would credit the great EQ to both but a slight edge has to go to Tongkat. Tongkat effects me quite a bit. It gives me mental clarity and really helps me focus on things. When it comes to sex with the wife, I’m totally different now than I was before I started to use it. It gives me a lot more passion. I find myself kissing her way more(not just on her lips) and I like to take my time when it comes to sexy time. Before Tongkat, it was basically some oral sex, then sex and it was done. I also find myself constantly staring at my wife and enjoying every second of it. She is very beautiful (see avatar) and now I always tell her that. Having the great boners is nice but the extra passion is awesome!

As far as the break goes, it is needed so a tolerance is not built up to each plant. Being that the plants are different and probably use different mechanisms to utilize the free testosterone, one can cycle them in such a manner. I have been cycling both since May and have had great results with no ill side effects.

Thanks for your personal details also. The M-F on and Sat, Sun off routine is the same schedule I use for the supplements I’m taking now (Boron, Cayanne Fruit, Hawthorne Berry, L-Arginine).

I’m especially encouraged by your input concerning EQ. Particularly that you compare TA to the effects of Cialis & Viagra. I use Levitra and I’m not real happy with the results. It gives full engorgement to the CC but nothing to the CS or glans so I only get a partial erection; very frustrating for me and my wife because I can’t ejaculate w/o my entire goober involved.

I’m asking from inexperience and complete ignorance here, but have you tried not taking it twice daily? The reason I ask is, if 6-8 hrs of the full 24 are spent sleeping wouldn’t it be more beneficial for our bodies to have the effects operating while alert and active? I’m not suggesting taking more in the morning just thinking about being a better steward with such a valuable resource.

Try to eat lots of broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage and Brussels sprouts. They contain indole-3-carbinols that have anti-estrogenic effects and will boost the effect of Tongkat on testosterone level.

I eat combination of these four for dinner at about 6:00pm and take 3 capsules of ZMA at 9:00 before bedtime. Do this in four weeks and you will certainly be a different Goob!

I like what I’ve understood about the benefits of T boosting supplements. I especially like the idea that it can be induced and used naturally by supplements like TA, Tribulus and some of the vegetables you mentioned. My TA order should arrive sometime this week and I can begin my intake. I really like the idea of losing belly fat.

Apparently I need to study more on natural T enhancers. After reading everyone’s response to my questions I feel embarrassingly uneducated. You guys have obviously fine-tuned your TA consumption to and art form. As time goes by I’ll interject more questions.

ZMA is Zinc supplement containing Zinc, Magnesium and B- Vitamins.

BTW, I also take daily omega-3 fish oil and Krill oil supplements along with cardio exercise at least 3 times a week.

omega-3 and exercise helps increase HDL cholesterol and lower LDL and therefore more blood flowing to the goob.
