I think I’m just looking for reassurance that it’s not something too serious so was hoping someone would have a similar experience.

Okay, imma hop in here.

I started PE out when I was 17 and did a LOT of bad stuff. Got injured a lot through the years due to “young man’s excitement”. That, in fact, prevented me from properly PEing, as the injuries I’ve done to myself carried on throughout the years.

Now I don’t wanna scare you, my pain has gone away entirely, for months/years, but comes back when I try to PE, usually a few weeks in when I’m starting to see gains.

I have a VERY similar pain to yours, if not that same one. As you said, there is a fat pad part and a “behind the head” part.

I’ve concluded it comes mainly from squeezes at the base and it’s nerve related. I used to do very aggressive squeezes/holds when I was a dumb youngster and I attribute the injury to it.
However, manual stretching might have something to do with it as well, as I’ve felt the place with specific grips.

Nowadays, sometimes it comes up when I’m jelqing upwards or straight out with a “wide/deep grip” (start gripping from the fat pad instead of base of penis).

My advice is, whenever this pain comes up while PEing, end your session right there, other than that, do everything you would normally (heat/masturbate/sex etc).
Only resume PE when it’s completely gone. When you completely stop feeling the pain, start with a VERY light session and see how it feels afterwards (assuming you don’t get the pain while doing the routine).

I someday hope to be able to write a “complete PE guide to inpatient youngsters prone to injury” but first I have to succeed in getting real gains.

After I while I visited my urologist and he concluded that I’d made a small tear in my suspensory ligament and have in turn the beginnings of Peyronie’s disease as the tissue heals and plaque develops.

The pain is still there although much less severe but he has advised I continue to do all things normally and over time the pain will subside. He’s also recommended I use a pump to try to combat the development of a leftward curve due to this plaque build up.

I have a similar issue to you. Pain in in the shaft, CS and CC tissue injury, possibly beginning to peyronies. I want to pump as well too, in order to inflate the penis and stretch the tissue gently. Did the doctor give you any instruction for how to pump properly?

Have you been doing any non PE activities that could be a contributing factor, such as bicycle riding? A poorly adjust bicycle seat, or too much time in the saddle can aggravate the pudendal nerve that runs thru your pelvis and up the length of your taint. It can cause pain issues and possible ED and urinary incontinence. It is commonly overlooked.

Don’t know if anyone has any idea what this could be? Since my last post I’ve visited the urologist a few times. He said it could be pain caused by early Peyronies but he wasn’t fully convinced. He’s just said to leave it as peyronies pain can take a while to go away. From what I’ve read on other forums you seem to be able to feel the hard lumps of plaque if this is the case. I’ve not done any PE for months in the hope of this pain going away which is really frustrating. I don’t know whether it’s worth starting again or not?

Sorry eyesblue, I’ve not been active for a while as been waiting for it to recover with no such luck as of yet. He didn’t give me any instruction unfortunately but what I have realised both from my experience and from on here is that you want to keep the pressure low. Higher pressure has caused me to lose erection for a few days until it is well rested again. I haven’t ever gone too high either, only to about 4-5”. My penis is obviously just sensitive to pumping.

Not that I can think of, I’m not a bike rider and the only sport I play is football (soccer)

If I try a small stretch I get quite a sharp pain at the base. I can get erections still and if they are not full, they are very close.

I have been taking painkillers and applying ice to the area for the last couple of days and the last time I tried the routine was when it happened on Friday and it’s now Tuesday. I know I should go and see a urologist but I’m terrified I’ve torn a ligament and will require surgery, I had my frenulum cut and developed further problems and so I have a lot of anxiety about penis surgery.

I suppose my real questions are is it possible I tore ligaments without having any excruciating pain? Or is it more likely that these pains are just from overdoing it and that I should just leave it for a few weeks and then gradually start again if the pain goes away?


Think you should let your penis be for 2-3 weeks. I’m also on break from any P.E exercise for now due to a bit of discomfort and mild pain I feel around the base down to the mid-shaft.
So I’d say leave it for a few weeks. You should get better.

As many people before me have stated you need to take a long break and heal.

When you are finally not on break you need to start very slow and gentle and keep it that way till you condition yourself to PE. I have taken so many breaks over the years from pain or issues and the best way to avoid serious problems is to learn yourself. Sharp pain is very bad and should be avoided, that takes extended healing (took me over a year to heal from one injury).

Dull soreness is more part of the healing process because you are causing micro tears in the penile tissue, but learning the difference is the first real hurdle in PE. The second major hurdle is dedication and time.

My story is the same as yours, including the symptoms with me, it happened on March 9º. It was in suspended training I would really like to know how you are today.

I have a similar injury on the right side of the ligaments, and it has been 3 months now. It may have caused slight peyronies as well, but the site has healed and improved over time.

Currently, after jerk off sessions, I can feel a dull ache for a few days and the ligament feels tighter than the uninjured side whenever I pull it a little.

After the first month, when I noticed it not healing fully. I started paying more attention to the positions that the penis is in and the things that helped me were:
- when I pee, I unbuckle and pull my pants down further, so that I pee with penis pointing downward, instead of pulling it horizontally out of the zipper hole which could cause stretching and reinjury
- when I sleep naked, I wear a contraption that I made up of some velcro bands rolled into a cone that I put my penis in. It secures the penis so that if I do get an erection, the penis doesn’t rest on my belly but stays pointing up towards the ceiling while I sleep. I attached a photo of what I made, but you can find another DIY way. If the erect penis is allowed to rests on the belly, it tends to put pressure and bends at the ligaments so I try to prevent that while I sleep.

With these 2 lifestyle changes, I was able to heal sufficiently within a week until the pain and dull ache is gone.

However, during masturbation, the repeated stretches on the ligaments and the dull ache comes back for a few days as mentioned above, so perhaps the ligament is not completely healed. I continue to wear the contraption while I sleep.

From now on, I intend to rest for a full week or 2, let the ache go away, and then start with very very gentle pulling a few times a day to gently rehabilitate the area. Otherwise, I’m not sure if the ligament can heal in a way that doesn’t reinjure during the stretching that occurs in masturbation and sex.
