Pelvic Floor Therapy Blood Flow Gained Sensitivity?

Pelvic Floor Therapy Blood Flow Gained Sensitivity?

(Please move to injury forum.)

Title says all.

I’d like to know if anyone here who’s worked at their pelvic floor issues diligently has, over time, experienced better/normal/healthy blood flow to their penis/genital area, and thereby maybe even making their stuff more sensitive. In my case, I want to regain my sensitivity I know is just not all there, as it used to be.

It’s kind of the make or break line in my quest with PE, if PE only would possibly pose me further risk in this department of decreased sensitivity (not counting pelvic floor exercises as a part PE for the sake of this thread). After all, I know it was something in my engaging with PE for a year that has messed my sensitivity up. I freely admit and am positing it was mostly from my loop of bad habits (more so than any bad technique). In general - trying too much, or going in sessions for too long. Most relevant to the topic - I would regularly edge at the end of almost every jelq session (after the newbie phase was up), which is fine (I think?), but I would rush to the PONR instead of actually edge properly up to it (the slow process). The whole issue was I was often too much in excitement mode more than I was committed to disciplined mode with the task at hand (jelq), which is why I would eventually make it a tradition to “edge” (so I called it) at the end of each jelq session. So, I’d have to kegel super hard at the urge of cumming, each time, often barely succeeding, and I’d repeat the up and down process till my unit was just spent. Sometimes even I’d jelq when the erection went down to halfway from a particular PONR comedown. It was a mess, looking back I see that now (even if some gains were being made, probably from such a workout). I think in general I have shocked my orgasm muscle(s), and probably the rest of the region, too.

If not for the pelvic floor being shocked, I wonder how else any perceived “sensitivity” or nerve issues could come about, for me and anyone else in my shoes. I’ve not had any major penile injuries; I’ve had two different lymph fluid clogs and a few minor bruises over nearly 3 years.

Given what I have described, if anyone wants to confirm it’s what it sounds like - I believe I do have a tight pelvic floor.

I’m going to be going to pelvic floor therapy proper to actually fix urinary issues this month (cystoscopy revealed no issues inside, so this is the next step), only 6 sessions (but hopefully that’s enough to learn what I need to do in my specific case).

Also, I’m officially on the daily yoga front at home.. The reverse kegel in action during certain yoga poses (ex: Cat, Happy Baby, Child’s Pose) really does feel like relief for me.

Alright, thanks, folks.

Glad to see I’m not the only one! I actually just made a post about this a few weeks back you should check it out. Here’s a link to it:
Pelvic Floor Specialist (Physical Therapist)

Definitely keep us updated on what all your PT says. I actually have thought about seeing a therapist as well, only thing is I don’t have any insurance at the moment so it would be very expensive. So until then I’ve been doing as much research and work on my pelvic floor myself trying my best to figure things out. I’ve had some good results but still don’t have it pinpointed. For instance, I had a good two weeks of really great EQ and amazing erections, morning etc.. and then all of a sudden the last four days it’s been crappy. Not good at all. My erections aren’t full and I cum way too easily during sex due to being so tight. So I still have homework to do.

Please, keep us updated and I will do the same. Let’s figure this out together! I think a lot of guys have this issue but don’t have a clue that the culprit is their pelvic floor and instead just think they have EQ issues for other reasons, maybe even they think it’s just their dick from PE training. I did for a long time.

Hard flaccid because of tight pelvic floor? Or something else?

Hi, I am 18 and have never tried any sort of PE methods. I am pretty active because I workout often and play sports. I eat pretty healthy and take multivitamins everyday. My problem is that my penis has always been fine, no problems whatsoever. But beginning about 5-6 months ago, my penis started to shrink up when flaccid. Instead of hanging down normally, it retracts back more and sticks out. The only time it is somewhat loosely hanging is after I pee, or when I lie down. Other than that it is super small and shrunk up. I don’t know why it is doing this as I can’t recall anything that I did to injure it in the last 6 months. Maybe I tugged too hard when masturbating or something or slept wrong on it. But I am just very confused and hate to see this change in my penis. Is there any advice out there on how I can help my penis return to normal? I only masturbate around 1-2 times a week because it just makes the situation worse if doing it too much. How can I make my penis elastic again and so it hangs down like before? I can’t look at it all small and shriveled up anymore. Thank you for helping me with this.

My situation seems very similar to yours, MHGC. I had a few weeks of great EQ last month and MW that wouldn’t quit and then lost it a couple of weeks ago. I’m almost sure it’s related to my pelvic floor/low back/hips. Hope to have clarity on this very soon. I PMed you. Hit me back. Would be awesome to figure this out together!
