Circumcision for Sclerosing Lymphangitis?

I am an uncut and almost 8 years ago had injured myself with clamped dry jelqs. Had a popping sensation on my penis tip, noted swelling just below my glans. Later becomes a hard cord with, pearly in colour. It never actually went away all this years.

I also frequently retract my foreskin for hygiene issues using the spoon technique. This only made things worse as the hard cord will enlarge subsequently causing foreskin swelling. Was advised to get circumcision by a member here.

Searched around and found circumcision might actually made this worse. Wonder if any members here had relief from this after circumcision?

Not heard of anyone having relief from this by circumcision - I would imagine that it would likely not be helpful and just potentially introduce more problems/inflammation.

The best remedy would seem to be rest, avoiding irritating the site, anti-inflammatories as needed and time
