Bulging veins on glans

I use a vac hanger and after a session i noticed that i have these veins bulging out on my glans, basically on the tip of the glans near the frenulum (on both sides) There is no pain but sometimes when I feel discomfort from hanging thats where the discomfort seems to be originating from and also it just looks odd. Its almost as if the veins are gradually coming out more and more to the surface if that makes any sense. Is this normal or a cause for concern? Im afraid that they will pop out or something lol.

After a session they dont bulge out that much anymore and there is no pain when getting an erection.

Do you tape your glans inside the cup? Use micropore, it wont interfere the vac. I learn it from total man vids and since I tape, i stop having edema on the tip. I also tape around the frenulum and the circumcision scar, keeps edema around that area. I just do crisscross not really like over tape so that it can work around any pressure or depressure from erection or deflation. I think scotch tape works too but it slides off from precum.

Those capillaries are getting stimulated too much and could result in bursting, nothing too serious probably but I wouldn’t personally bet on it, be careful.

I tape with micropore then put on some baby powder and then a silicon cap. I only get a little edema after hanging when i take everything off but its very mild and goes away in a few min.

Any ideas how could i protect the capillaries more? My approach right now is to hang with lower weights (build up to 2.5 kg in the first few sets than then 2.5 for 3-4 sets) if there is any sharp pain or discomfort I take off everything to inspect as i also dont want to get blisters. I will also increase weights very slowly, maybe like 100g per week.

I meant to add i hope it helps. I haven’t had a vein problem in awhile or exacerbated it but from what i recall, easing a bit and taping did help

By easing a bit you mean taking back from the intensity of hanging? (lest time, less weight etc)

The cup size should be fine i think, i have a total man and he the cup size was based on my measurement, plus he sent 2 extra cups one larger one smaller than my "ideal" size. With the taping and the silicon cap i can just about put on the vac cup, if it was any smaller i couldnt.

This oil is interesting, but from what i found its to treat thrombosed veins? I dont think mine are thrombosed.

I tried searching here and on google, but everything i find is just about veins on the penis in general.

Hello brother. That’s what happened to me from pumping. I didn’t find anything until I read your message. I stopped immediately, I got scared. It’s still very strange to see your veins in the glade. And they disappeared and they never came out again. I also lowered the intensity. No. I know if it is good or not, I would also like to know.

Seeing popping veins in the glans is 100% NOT good, if that happens you need to stop immediately what you are doing or they might pop at one point or another. I got blisters from clamping but that’s a different thing and very occasionally in 4 years.

I think I need a little bit of a hanging routine history. How long do you hang, how much weight and do you do set hangs

I have been hanging since june. I have logged 92 hours since then with a 60 days spent hanging. I aim for 6x20min but it usually comes out to less and i usually dont hang in the weekend. The weight is quite low, i started with 1.5kg and slowly worked it up to 2.75kg . I got blisters two times that each required around 10 days of healing and they happened when i switched to higher weighs too fast. First it was when i hanged 2.75 for the first time, after that i took back the weights and worked up to 2.75 kg again but slower this time. Then again i made the stupid mistake to switch to 3kg too fast and got a blister again. So now i max out at 2.5kg (but i always start with lighter weights and work up to my full weight in a few 10min sets). The thing is, i could handle higher weights if not for the blisters and these bulging veins on the glans. The few sets i did with 3kg felt really nice.

I dont know what i could improve in my taping, i tried all kinds of different ways, micro pore, micro foam. silicon sleeve, baby powder, tried combining these in different ways but the veins always bulge out and it seems to worsen the more i hang.

One thing i found is this new way of using the vac cup that i havent seen before. On total mans website he has a video where he uses water in the cup to spread out the pressure kinda like a bathmate does. Not sure if its gonna be better but im gonna try it after my water proof tape arrives.

That’s first I heard, worth a try. If water leaks then your having air pockets and maybe you just got a faulty vac. You can always try a compression like a bib hanger and that should shift pressure off from glans. Of course it carries a different risk.
How about silicone cap? I may have to experiment with that water thing

Thast a good point, i will definitely try.

I do use a silicon cup (thats what i meant when i said silicon sleeve). My go to method is to tape (i used the 1.25mm micropore to make sure there arent any creases) then add some baby powder for extra protection against moisture and then put on a silicon cup. The cup is to be an extra layer of protection and also to keep the foreskin from getting in the way. In the vac cup i would put a foam pad so that the silicon wouldnt seal the hole when im pumping out the air. I though i had it figured out, as i never had issues with the cup sliding off/loosing pressure, and after hanging when i took off the vac chamber the silicon cup was also in place and the tape not detached from the glans.

About the bib hanger.. maybe one day i will try, but as you said, it carries different risks and also seems to have quite a long learning curve. If i cant figure out vac hanging in the next few months I will sooner switch to vac extending as that’s doable with lower traction compared to hanging, so it shouldn’t come with that many issues i reckon.

Oh man, I have never seen veins in my glans, and I doubt I ever will. I’m a lot less hardcore than some of you guys, but if I saw that, I would stop immediately, and give myself as much time as I needed to heal.

And that’s exactly the right mindset for the injury, same thing as if you would get blisters on glans.
