Anyone know the size of the PMP glans chamber? Is the opening about 3 cm?


Serious starting point: Nov. 2, 2009/BPEL 5.75 x 4.75 inches.

Current BPEL 7 1/2 x 5.5 inches.

Goal: BPEL 8 x 6 inches. Hell, if I hit 8, I'm going for 9!

Anyone who owns a PMP, do you leave your sleeve and glans cap on, or do you remove them after each use?

I’ve always left mine on. They’re kind of a pain to take off and put on anyways. I don’t know if you found the answer to your first question already but yes, my opening is 3cm.

Thank you for responding, I do appreciate it.

They are definitely a pain to put on and I’m afraid to tear the glans cap, as I have torn one before. I know they’re basic questions, but the PMP/extender avenue is completely new to me, as all the experience I have in PE is from hanging.

I’ve had mine for roughly 2 years (worn consistently for 1 year) and haven’t torn one yet by putting it on. They seem fairly durable but do get worn out over time and rip.

Unfortunately I didn’t see much gains from using it as an ADS so I started hanging with it a couple of months ago. This has been my first journey into hanging and everything seemed to be going well as I was progressing but two days ago I felt a little pain and realized my frenulum had a little cut on it. I’m not sure if it was from the chamber or the ring. Or maybe from being too stretched? Either way, something to keep an eye out for if hanging with it. I never had any issues when just using it as an ADS though. It is a solid device.

You didn’t get the extender, or as they call it, the rod expander?

Yes I did get the extender with all the rod attachments that came with it. I didn’t measure my BPFSL before hand but I know that increased because I kept having to add more rods to it, just didn’t see much, if any, BPEL gains. The last year I was wearing it 4 to 8 hours a day taking the weekends off with a break in the summer. 900+ hours. I’m starting to think it’s more difficult for me to gain though, that’s why I switched to hanging with it so I can get more of a pull. I believe the tension only goes up to 2.5lbs.

Wow, only flaccid gains? You would think flaccid would equate to erect gains also. Have you tried pumping? I’m sorry to hear that man, that’s frustrating.

Yeah it was a little frustrating but it’s all good, I got more of a flaccid hang out of it and will take what I can get. I thought I would eventually start making erect gains but after so long of not adding additional rods and my EL staying the same I thought it was time to switch it up. I’m sure I’ll revisit it in the future. Some methods seem to work for some and not others.

I have been adding pumping to my routine again but it’s pretty sporadic. You mentioned you used to (or still) hang. What kind of hanger do you have? I may need to change it up if I determine it is in fact the glans chamber that caused my cut but first I’m going to try taping around my frenulum and see if that helps.

Although I didn’t get the length I was hoping for while stretching with the PMP, I’m still glad I got it. I enjoy hanging with the glans chamber now and was doing 4 sets at 8.75lbs for 45 minutes before my injury. It’s the first injury I’ve had the entire time with it and I consider it pretty minor compared to others I’ve read about.

When I was pumping before my frenulum got cuts few times and it was very painful. Twice when with girl I couldn’t perform at all. So the vacuum in your chamber may causing it.

Now I’m vacuum hanging and always start taping from the frenulum and give it few layers. No issues so far.

That’s good to hear that taping has worked with stopping your frenulum cuts, it gives me hope. I can understand how painful those could get. Luckily I was fortunate enough to catch it before it got too deep but I will be taping from now on.

I have the Hardcore Bib hanger, but I made a majority of my gains from a homemade Bib knockoff. I had no clue what I was doing, just made the hanger and hung 6 hours a day.

Have you read up on the FIR and NIR or ultrasound while in the extender? Seems to be the most scientific and educated studies and documentation I’ve seen. I’ve bought some FIR and NIR pads and I’m waiting on my Best Extender to get here so I can use that in conjunction with the heating pads. Hopefully I won’t have to go to ultrasound to hit my goal.

I picked up a NIR pad shortly after I started hanging, which is probably a big contributor to my new BPFSL gains. It’s nice to see movement in the right direction again. I think using one while in a stretcher would be a lot more beneficial than without. I’ve read up a bit about using ultrasound too but I got a good thing going on with the NIR right now.

The cut I mentioned is more like a paper cut that brought out only a few drops of blood from the banjo string on the underside where my glans meets the shaft. Pretty much right where the base of the chamber rests while on. It’s not as bad as it sounds like it was for WillyJohns. I think it’s mostly healed already but I’m going to take it easy for a few more days to be safe.

Good to know the NIR has seemingly helped. I know I can feel a difference using it, like it’s really helping the blood flow. I also bought some FIR pads, waiting on them to get here.

Feel around the edges of the glans chamber and if you feel any jagged edges, take a fine fingernail file and lightly buff them out. I did that because I didn’t want to tear any of the glans caps; I actually never gave a thought to it cutting me.
