Have to say I watched the movie.. Whilst I liked it.. I have to say the section on P.e is basically everything wrong with p.e and does give the social stigma that p.e doesnt work.. The guy tries a few devices/ techniques for a couple of weeks then when he doesnt get results he gives up.. I mean whay does he expect two inches in two weeks.nah.

I’m hesitant. But the guy does seem to have a goofy Will Ferrell personality that may carry the movie. All of these docs tend to say the same things. Good thing cheeba watched it for the rest of us, though, so we don’t have to pay $4.99 to Vimeo.

That’s annoying man, has there ever been much in terms of content on this community?

Thanks! Enjoyed it.

Thanks for the link. Watched most of it with a bit of 2x to speed things up.

But << spoiler alert !! >> the dude is a total putz. I mean he tries a pump for 1 week. Pills for 1 week and an extender for 1 week. Well duh you don’t have results after one week. So what does he do to get instant results, has girth surgery. The film is as much about what’s wrong with the culture of instant gratification and American consumerism as it is about one guy’s penis dysmorphia issues.

Somehow I am kinda happy that our society still believe and push forward the myth that you can’t get bigger penis.

"If you desire one thing for so long, it is a given that you will miss other things along the way. That is how it is... that is life."

I’m about a 40% through the film, and as crazy as it sounds, I’m seeing quite a bit of myself in Bergman. Not to the extreme that he does, and not as obsessed, but I’ve certainly “been there” before. I think he’s out with a friend or his old girlfriend or something at this point that I’m watching. And she discusses body insecurity, and how it’s talked about quite a bit for women but not so much for me. Not that the discussion is always helpful for women, because there are still a LOT of women out there (in my experience anyway for what that’s worth) who still struggle with it. But, the discussion isn’t very much there for men. Right now that’s definitely the most interesting part of the film, he doesn’t seem terribly interested in PE itself, just the psychology behind wanting to do PE in any capacity (Surgical, Pills, Extenders, etc.) I’m going to finish this regardless, but would like to see a proper documentary about this over the course of a year or two with some new PE-ers like me and how they feel after a year. Like a video diary progress guide. I’m much too camera shy to do it myself, but I’d certainly love to work behind the scenes on something like that.

Ok, I’ve got another hour of this. See you fellas then.

He used the extender for how? 2 weeks max and he expected gains. I extend my dick for 10 months now methodically every day 4 hours at least to 8 max and have gains. It’s a long road as the drop that falls corrodes the stone a little at a time. I believe when peaple understand that the process take times all will become easier…

I’m an hour in, watching bits and pieces between tasks at work (WFH obviously lol.) I wonder if he would have had a better time with some guidance. Like, he’s got a professor, a personal boxing trainer, among other things in the film. He might have had a better time if he had someone to mentor him.

He doesn’t want to work, the protagonist wants instantly result and that’s is without sense. In fact i will do the operation because he wants an easy way. There’s not an easy way in life. There is only pain pain and gain. Destroy your dick, destroy your muscle, work hard, eat good, rest, repeat every single day for 5-10 years. There’s no magic pills

Hi! New member here. The film was funny thanks for sharing!

I get how the guy felt when starting, wanted to see result right away. One thing I noticed, never once he showed is erect Jimmy.

Its one thing to have a fat one but it needs to be good looking also! Wonder if the surgery made him look like a Frankenstein. :)

I have been doing PE for 4 months and see some results already, almost 1inch in length and 0.2 in girth.

But yeah hard work to get gains but its surely most satisfying!

Ok, so I’ve finished the Theatrical Cut of Big Like Me, graciously provided by our friend Cheeba (Shout outs to you sir.) Review incoming, minor spoilers. So you have been warned.

Immediate thought, Bergman is a terrible fool, and he’s very well aware of it. He spends as much time lampooning his obsession with penis size as he does indulging it, so that kind of skews the tone. And remains the whole focus. This guy has the definition of a first world problem. He’s got a perfectly fine penis as is. I believe roughly 6 X 5. “Average” to “Above average.” And it looks good. Smooth, cut, proportionate to his bollocks, not sure what the deal was. But, yet here I am with similar stats, so I certainly sympathize on some level. Actually most levels really. But he’s got this weird obsession and hangs onto everyone’s every word about the penis, until they say it’s really not a big deal. I think he’s missing out on the understanding that having a Big One is a novelty. Like the most up to date gaming console, or a convertible. It’s a neat thing to have, but you can date, marry and have a good time without it.

Greg is a relatable guy, I think to many of us, and probably reflects the struggles of many of us here. But, I think he’s a terrible example. He destroys his marriage to a woman who supported him to a fault and was drop dead gorgeous, alienated his family, ruined his brother’s spring break, and ignored the advice of his mentors and therapists, to instead take a potentially dangerous surgery on the merit that he could show a bunch of women a bulge in his pants.

And the worst part is, it didn’t cure his obsession. Personally, if I hit my 7.5 × 6(ish) goal, I think I could be done. I’m not terribly interested in having a penis above 8 inches. I’d like to be able to use it, and aside from size queens, in my circles 8 is a hard limit (this is strictly anecdotal evidence, so don’t read too much into it lol.) Bergman shifts from constantly crying about his penis, to hunting down dates online just so he can brag about it. And, I suppose to his credit, he finally meets someone to use it on. Who i suspect doesn’t show up in his life elsewhere judging by the context of the film.

And, to my surprise, even worse still. I’m actually a little concerned that I could have a body dysmorphic condition like him. Granted I’ve had the “She thinks it’s too small.” Experience and had the word “average” too. But my goal of PE is really to never have to think about my penis size again. Like I can achieve the goal, know it was through hard work, and hang up my medal and move on.

The film itself was ok, I’d give it a 3 out of 5 ultimately. It’s not pleasant to watch, and there are few to no technicals at all. I have no idea why he didn’t visit a Urologist or an Andrologist or any scientist who knew what the hell he/she was talking about. Though he also brushed off his Therapist, who clearly did know what she was talking about, so I shouldn’t be surprised. But for what it’s worth Big Like Me is never boring. Our protagonist never learns a lesson, and I dislike him all the more for that. But the film does highlight problems with society and the media, pretenses and pride. And literally every other named person seems to have their head on straight, so that’s nice. Take that for what it’s worth, so sorry for the long post. Next time I’ll have a long member instead.

Thanks again to Cheeba for digging this gem up so I didn’t have to pay to watch it.
