Approaching my fifth month of using an extender (size genetics), I measured this morning. The measurement was pretty disheartening and was consistent with a measurement three weeks ago. I could make an argument for an added .7cm at 100 per percent erection and digging the ruler into my pubic bone. It seems a measurement prior to that was inaccurately optimistic. I started at 6” and now I’m between 6” and 6.2” or 3, depending on the day and more importantly on EQ. I used the extender at a low tension for the first few months but managed to increase the bars. For the last three months is been fairly high, between 1000-1200g, 7 days, at least 8 hours, with the occasional half day every few weeks. I’m now extender at 7” to 7”1/2. Wearing it has been brutal at times, mentally it’s taxing having to wrap, rewrap and readjust it every hour. I had envisaged wearing this thing for 8 months at the most, using it consistently and intensely. Now I’m not even sure if I should continue, given the low returns for such an intense effort. I was thinking of hanging, which seems less time consuming at 90 mins per day, plus the possibility of girth gains around the base. I’ve been jelqing and manually stretching and it seems girth is easier for me, certainly the results are more noticeable, so I suspect I may be one of those guys that increases girth easier. Frustrating, as I’d love to focus on girth work, but know that’s probably not a good idea and that length must be my first focus. Any thoughts guys?

I would stick with it a full 6 months… Most of the ADS say 6 months… Unless it’s truly torture (which the Andropenis is in my opinion) then I’d continue.

I honestly think you’re pushing it too hard. My days of advising at X4 Labs noted that guys who took it easier and took regular rest days during the week saw progress much faster.

I mean think about it. For you to build new tissue, the irritating stimuli of extending has to stop for your body to recover. And stop longer than a few hours for you to sleep. Gains are made on rest days, when your body gets through several repair cycles to generate the new tissue you’re seeking. But…it depends on how you look at it.

Personally, after the amount of what really sounds like brutal stuff you’ve put your penis through I’d take a month off and start anew with less workload so that you can rest and capitalize on the work that you do accomplish. This is my thought process.

My Extender and forward to 10" and balls enhancement project. There is no "Holy Grail" of Penis Enlargement. Only time and effort works. I'm *10* years in and counting. All you have to do is put the work in and keep the faith.

Thanks Gold, I’m not sure about the intensity. The scientific surveys suggest the guys who gained most did so by wearing the extender 7 days and at least 8 hours, some did 12 hours. I do 2 days on one day off for basic stretches, kegels, and jelqing/squeezes. And I watch my EQ for indications for overdoing it. I do take a full day off every few weeks on the extender. Maybe I’ll take one day a week. It’s not that it’s that physically brutal, it’s the constant hassle of wrapping, adjusting and hiding the thing under clothes walking with a limp that is mentally tiresome and socially restricting. And if the gains aren’t coming, I’m not sure if this is the method best suited for me to advance. Maybe the expectations were too high. I was expecting a gain of 1” after 6-8 months. My growth trajectory is nowhere near that, despite following conventional wisdom on the product. Just wondering if that had been anyone else experience and if another more high-intensity, shorter time method had worked for them instead.

Let me try to say this again in shorter words:

You don’t need to run an extender 6 days a week to see gains.

I was on the forum that sold X4Labs products. Those guys were the ones that didn’t gain. I gained with an extender a few hours a day a few days a week, wearing it as long as it was comfortable. Anything your penis doesn’t like won’t make you gain. Period. You’ll end up fighting with your penis and his reflex to hold together in one piece while he perceives you trying to tear him apart with torture tools.

Combine that with you running a full workout 2 days on, 1 day off…and you’re doing waaay too much. Period. Running a traction device is all you need to do, if you’re going to do it. Running a full manual workout and no days off with the extender? Honestly, that’s ludicrous.

You tell me you’ll take a day off a week. Honestly, it’s up to you but I’m not here to convince you. I’m here to tell you what works and what worked for the guys on the forums when I frequented X4Labs. The guys running the hardest almost never gained and if they did, they never gained well. Simple as that.

The studies say what they do about running an extender hard but they also did not say the guys were kegeling, jelqing, squeezing and stretching along with the hard use of the traction device. You added that and have definitely added too much work load. Quite literally. You may not think the workload is severe but it is. I’ve seen repeated injuries from just traction device use and horror stories I won’t repeat. Using equipment to a comfortable level is always recommended first, as this is the best way to gauge what is working instead of straight up causing a poor reaction with hard use due to recommendations.

I don’t know what approach you want to take but you have to do something different. If you want to keep at it the way you’re going, that’s up to you but…I doubt running anywhere near this hard at this stage of PE will get you more gains. It’s likely to be the same performance if not an injury.

Thanks Gold, I’ll take your advice and cut it back to 4 hours with two days off device per week and see if that helps. I had been taking the advice of Good Looking Loser and others who suggested no less than 8 hours per day and basing my approach on the various medical surveys. It suggests the medical surveys could be nothing more than company-enlisted corporate propaganda. Some of those surveys suggested girth gains too, as does the Size Genetics literature, which is patently bullshit. Because these extenders are intensely marketed, there seems to be a lot of unnecessary and misleading information attached to them. Thanks for the head’s up.

Also think about increasing the tension each day slowly starting low with your first strap in that day. If too high tension the dick will react in pulling back. Coax him into elongating.

Also do some extra stretches in-between cause an extender is rather one dimensional.(helicopter stretches would be a good addition)

Make sure there is constant heat too… also, I would slowly add in hanging or manuals for short periods at higher tensions and different angles. consider some sort of tiger trap to weaken the tissue.

Thanks guys. Yeah, each morning I put a steaming hot flannel around my dick and base and do warm-up stretches, from all angles to loosen it up, ready to get strapped in. Bundled stretches seem particularly good. I then strap in at low tension and progressively increase it through the day, so that it’s on fairly high tension for the last two hours. I find you can only keep it at high-tension while stationery, in bed for example, without slippage and loss of tension. I’m stretching comfortably at 7.5” on occasions, which is a good 1.2 inches above erect length, so I’m hoping erect length will follow. I do a 40-minute stretch-kegel-jelq and 10 squeezes session, four times per week, which keeps my EQ very high and dick feeling full. Maybe as Gold says, I should think about cutting back on that in case recovery is an issue.

I am not an expert in extenders, but have some but still too little knowledge in tissue growth and recovery. 24 hours is pretty short as break. Most growth/recovery processes are better if they get at least 48 hours without the training impulse.

Therefore, whatever method you use, think about having at least 1 break of 2 continuous days per week.

what was your starting FSL?

I prefer hanging and manual stretching over an extender. It sucks wearing something like that for hours a day. If you have things to do an extender would just get in the way. Making every thing you do uncomfortable. You just can’t forget about an extender pulling on your dick at the same time your talking to people or working.

I never measured by original stretched flaccid length but it was stretch getting it into the extender with minimal bars, maybe 4”. Now it’s 6”, when I take it out of the extender I can comfortably stretch it to above 7”. I’m hoping that may transfer into erect length soon.

I hear you brother, I thought it would be doable in work or outside of the house, but it’s too much of a constant distraction, slippage, pinching, sore glan, walking like you just poo’d yourself.. I think hanging if done right would be a more constructive use of time and some of the base girth increases I’ve seen from hangers looks amazing. Nice tapered girth sets you up nicely for future clamping.
