Thats fine. I find it best to got get obsessed with a strict PE routine. Go with the flow but get stuck back in when you feel better. That way you are more likely to keep up the PE long term and get some gains. A break every now and then also helps keep EQ up and I found some of my best gains were after a break.

Week 2 Day 5:

Got back into the routine, had a lot of trouble this time, it was really hard to get a good grip on the head and I think my exercise wasn’t very effective. Jelqing did not go well either, I find it incredibly hard to stay focused due to my ADHD.

Any advice?

Try gripping a little further down the shaft, and a little tighter and drawing some skin up to cushion against the head. The idea is to target the ligaments with the stretches and they’re all further down at the base so it’s okay to grip lower for comfort.

As for the ADHD, not sure what to say. I found learning to meditate helped me with my concentration, but it’s not really a quick fix kind of solution :/

Maybe count the strokes instead of timing yourself; I do that and it helps me to stay focused / keeps my mind on it.

For the grip, if you haven’t tried a piece of toilet paper or a Kleenex, it really makes a huge difference.

For the ADHD, I watch porn and try to focus on the sensation of the exercise. Just remember, everybody has good sessions and bad sessions. You’ll get better with practice, but there will still be days your head just really isn’t in the game.

During warm-up and stretching—when I was still stretching—I watched TV on my computer. Speaking of which—both warmups and constant heat are strongly recommended, if you’re not already incorporating them.


Why the Smithsonian? Because you could walk around it for a week and not see the whole thing.

I took a few days off to focus on seeing my friends, they were in town and we fooled around a bit, and I felt terrible because I wasn’t able to perform.

I think it was probably just stress, because we were going to record stuff, but I don’t know. I feel like everything I do just ends in failure. This is just yet another thing I can’t do.

Not going to lie, I kind of want to just kill myself and not have to worry about anything anymore.

That can be a symptom of depression. If you’re unhappy whatever you do it can create the illusion for you that you can’t make a good decision, which isn’t necessarily the case.

I have depression as well. I feel like I’m just moving from thing to thing desperately trying to find something that ‘works’.

I’m gonna start week 2 over again since I had that extended break.

I heard something recently that I thought was really useful and I’m paraphrasing. “If you feel like you’re failing you didn’t aim low enough.”

The idea there is that lower the bar so that you can achieve success and then build from there, instead of going for too much and staying in that failure loop. Something as simply as making your bed in the morning. Set that as a goal, do it and you can no longer say “everything I do ends in failure.”

And then later you can ask yourself what do you want to do and then go do that. Aim low enough and build from that.

I’d suggest the newbie routine and some extender use. The size genetics extender is a good choice:

There’s another type of extender that the guys here seem to recommend, but I don’t use it so can’t really speak as to its effectiveness.

And, I guess, yeah: unless you get as far as clamping, you probably don’t really need to worry about IPR protocol, but if you get to a point where you think you might be practising PE long-term it would probably be a good idea to make a start on the reading, as there’s a lot of it and it’s not really very clearly written in some cases. Maybe by the time, and if, you reach that point, things would have been revised a little more thoroughly, but, who knows.

Interesting, I’m thinking of getting this now. Do you wear extenders all day long or what?

I think it’s one of those "matter of perspective" type things:

The pessimist says to the optimist "It couldn’t get any worse" to which the optimist sits up and replies "Yes it could!!" ;)

I think the point is to try and build a sense of accomplishment and self-confidence through strings of very little things, so as to challenge your own belief about your own abilities.

Definitely know and understand this feeling myself. I have no hope anymore and I just want to escape from my pain. My life feels like a nightmare that I can’t wake up from now. I just want it to be over. I feel like I’m hanging on for a miracle. I often find myself thinking and saying exactly what you’re saying here too. “I feel like everything I do just ends in failure.” It seems like it’s all I’ve known. I try to do the right things for myself to be happy and it just blows up in my face every time. Today and last night were exceptionally bad for me too. I can’t even take a shower or use the bathroom anymore without feeling inadequate and wanting to die.

I won’t ramble too much though, this is your thread. Just wanted to let you know that you’re not alone having these feelings. We’re both in the same struggle right now. I really hope you can get to where you want to be. I don’t think I’m going to make it but I hope you can.

Hi! If you’re wondering where the old thread went, I didn’t realize that posting a picture would make it be moved. It’s ok though, I’ll make another thread. This one is going to be more of a day by day diary, whereas the member thread will be more periodical, with milestones and monthly stats.

Anyway, when I measured before PE, I was NBPEL 5.5” and MSEG 5”.

We’ll just start with today as the first entry.

Day 5: On Day

Starting to get a better hang of the wet jelqing technique. Was able to apply more pressure today and could definitely feel it in my womanhood. I find Uli’s routine much easier to do, personally, though of course it’s modified for someone like me who is a beginner, I’m not trying to rip my dick off. Step 3 feels amazing, almost uncomfortably so, like when you get an erection so hard the head becomes ultra-sensitive.
