I stumbled onto this forum because I had started taking ginko and ginseng for general health benefits along with getting back into running. The morning after the first dose I was chilling on the couch reading the news, when the wife reached over and patted my crotch. She had never done this before and it was out of character for her. Unfortunately nothing transpired because she had to leave for work but I had figured out that my flaccid had caught her eye as it was particularly full. I did some quick research to see if this was an effect of the ginseng, ginko combination and found thunders. After reading some posts, I figured, why not try PE.

Routine
Warm up by showering then stretch mostly stretching down and some to the sides then jelq switch hands and grips as one gets tiring.

3 days on 1 day off and I haven’t been counting reps or keeping track of time but I would say 40 minutes total.

This would be the 7th day, so 6 days of exercises and tomorrow I’ll take the day off.

I measured out of curiosity and was very surprised at BPEL7.2 EG5.6.

This made a believer out of me and also cleared up my concerns about technique. I only hope it continues.

40 mn for a routine is a large amount of time for a starter. Maybe try to do the same effort in a shorter time frame.

Lognuts, my research into the ginko, ginseng effect was inconclusive. Also, the results I experienced could have been due to any number of other factors. That being said, I’ve continued taking this combo, have since added zinc to the stack and have stopped drinking coffee. The withdrawals from coffee were excruciating but I think its over now.

Thank you for the advice Walter. I haven’t been keeping a good record of time. I will probably start now since I would rather not experience any injuries.

Harusen, I am doing the newbie routine with the basic warm up, stretch and jelq. I try to go for quality reps and get a good feel of what I’m trying to accomplish.

It’s always good to have positive feed back from the wife. Back off just a bit on the time of your routine. Use constant heat while you do your routine.

Routine Update

The routine has been move to the bathtub with the water as hot as possible. I pulled off the overflow drain and flipped it around to get some extra depth out of the tub.

Also I started to count reps so I can record more accurate data.

So now the routine looks like this.

Sit in bath tub 5-10 minutes for warm up

Get out, run more hot water to maintain heat while stretching.

Stretch 5 directions for 30 sec each. Do 2 sets

Get back in tub

170 jelqs

Continue to soak in tub until I feel like getting out.

Overall, it’s awkward and somewhat uncomfortable because of the size of the tub but if this is what will help me continue to gain I’ll just have to get used to it.

Does standard exercise effect PE if done in close proximity? Say if I ran 3 miles and 10 minutes later started this routine?

Tomorrow will be the end of week 2. I might measure. If I do, I’ll update.

Depends. At what intensity is those 3 miles that you ran?

You could be facing some “turtling” if you decide to PE after body exercises … just make sure to have a good warm up before start your PE routine.

How about doing PE in the early morning to knock it out early and get it out of the way? Later you can do your running in the evening. This will give you time between your activities.

I had a nice thoughtful update typed out, about ready to submit, when something timed out and I lost it. Now I don’t feel like retyping, so this will be brief.

Switched to tailors tape instead of string for girth measurements
EG 5 3/8 base, mid, upper. I consider this to be the accurate measurement and will use this as my baseline moving forward.

I’m Stoked

Another week has gonna by. I’ve keep up with the routine stated above. With no issues.

Measured today. No change. I’m ok with this at least I didn’t lose previous gains.

BPEL looked to be getting closer to the next 1/8 inch but it wasn’t there yet so I’m not counting it. I’m thinking about changing the schedule to possibly workout mon tues thurs friday and rest wed sat sun and kegel alot more.

One Month In

It’s now been one full month of PE and I have been very happy with the results so far. These exercises definitely work, at least for me. I’ve managed to stay away from injuries and haven’t got very sore so last week I stepped it up a little bit after week 3 showed 0 gains. I stuck with roughly the same routine this past week but added more stretching 4 more 30 sec stretches. The jelqing in the bathtub turned out not to be optimal since the tub is too small and very uncomfortable It was difficult to maintain erection level. A week later I know that low erection level (0-10%) jelqs don’t do anything for me. I still use the tub to warm up and warm down since its pretty good for that. These changes seemed to have really paid off for me when I measured today.

BPEL 7.5 its really close to the 7 5/8 line but I’m not rounding up or extrapolating. This is a pretty large gain and I almost couldn’t believe it.

EG base 5.5 mid 5.375 upper 5.375 mid might have gained slightly but not enough to show on the tape. The base gained a 1/8 inch so I’m stoked about my first girth gain. Hopefully it wasn’t just a little plump today or something.

The wife hasn’t mentioned anything yet. She has to have noticed. I’m interested to see when she finally says something. Before PE I would bottom her out in cowgirl and missionary with her legs behind her head ( which sucks because this position is awesome). I haven’t hit bottom in any other positions which is good. Continued growth shouldn’t be an issue, since she mostly likes positions that hit her g spot which isn’t very deep anyway.

I almost forgot, I started kegeling a lot more 100-200 rep sets multiple times a day. This muscle seems to be getting stronger. Kegeling seems to be an afterthought in most of the programs I’ve read but I really think it is a lot more important than the amount of posts it gets.

Since I now know that this stuff works I’ve begun to think long term. I want to finish out my newbie gains hopefully another 3-7 months. I’ll take whatever gains I can get and reassess the situation from there. I’m hoping this leaves me close to or over 8 BPEL and more girth. Another week like last week and it won’t be too far away.

Got to be happy with that, especially since it was a very stressful week and I only did PE 3 times.

With summer coming the wife is going to be home more, which leaves me with less private time for PE. So I told her about it. She said she was completely happy with the way things were but it was fine with her if this is what I want to do. She said that she hadn’t noticed any extra length but she also wasn’t thinking about if my dick felt longer either. She said she definitely noticed the girth and the increased staying power.

Going to stay focused on the routine as is. No reason to change what is still producing results. If/when I reach the major milestone of 8 BPEL, I think I’ll have a naming ceremony for my unit. Gotta think of something good and original.
