What’s up Thunders people,

I’ve been a member on here for awhile now but am just getting around to taking my journey seriously. I just began last week with the newbie routine. I plan on doing something like Monday, Tuesday on.. Wednesday off.Thursday, Friday on.. And the weekend off. I’m living at home until the end of January so I have plenty of time and space to do the workouts and what not. I’m worried that in January when I’m going back to college I may not have the space and privacy but I guess I can cross that bridge when I get there.

My starting stats are BPEL - 5.9 in.. MSEG - 4.5 in

I’m setting my goal as BPEL - 7.5 in and MSEG - 5 in

Any thoughts/encouragement as to whether or not this is attainable? I’m 19 btw..

Very attainable. I gained about 2cm in my first 6 months of PE. I did only jelqing and then jumped to newbie routine. Worked great, good luck!

Your goal is very achievable. Just be consistent and remember that the gains come with time. Be patient and don’t try to force anything.

I agree that the most important aspects of PE are patience and consistency. Hopefully with these attributes in mind I’m able to attain my goals.

Quick update

Monday’s routine:

Towel wrap warmup (in shower)
5-10 minutes of stretching (in shower)
100 jelqs (in shower)
Towel wrap warm-down (in shower)

Today’s routine:

10-15 minutes of rice sock warmup
5-10 minutes of stretching (in shower)
100 jelqs (in shower)
Towel wrap warm-down (in shower)

Tomorrow is a rest day.

I also noticed that I didn’t have much if any morning wood this morning. I don’t feel like I over trained at all yesterday so I’ll keep an eye on it but it was definitely odd.

Sounds like you’re off to a great start! It took a while but the funny thing I learned about manual stretches, is that while very effective (especially done thru your day), they can hit one’s EQ really hard which could be in part because we’re so intense about making something happen when we start this journey.

For me that’s taken the form of messing with my ability to stay hard much longer than 5 minutes during sex but also effects my morning wood - all part of a general hit to one’s EQ and a negative PE in this context (not to mention the red spots that overdoing manual stretches can deliver to your unit). I found that I had to back off of my intensity specifically on my stretches but strangely jelqing doesn’t effect EQ for me at all.

I ultimately realized I also had to back off the number of days I do PE per week (from the 5 per week I had worked up to, to no more than 4 PE days per week - sometimes less) to get my EQ back to where I wanted it. Leaving off porn/fap directly & cumulatively helped the situation with both issues as well.

Everybody’s different and you’ll figure it out for yourself, but somewhere in there is a happy medium (which is great cause Halloween’s almost here!) where things are effective but not overly debilitating to your plumbing. Good luck!!

My unit was more fatigued than I had thought as I didn’t notice it until today’s workout where I could feel the fatigue while jelqing. It wasn’t painful or anything but perhaps I had a better workout yesterday than I initially though. Tomorrow is a rest day and I think I may do a bit of light stretching but nothing more.

Many people stress the importance of not overdoing it especially early on and I’m trying my hardest to resist that urge. Slow and steady wins the race!

For some people less is more. Do not be afraid to do less work, it just might work much better for you. I know, there`s always the urge to do more because it`s seems logical for more gains, but that is not true always. What works for person X doesn`t necessariky work for you. I can tell this from my own experience. Get this, I gained 1cm in 2 months with 300 jelqs a day 5 day on, 2 off. Then I jumped to the newbie routine, and I gained 1 cm in 2 weeks! Less is more, or at least was the case in my scenario.

Fully echo that - I’m again getting immediate gains after a 2-month decon break, and am still tempted to screw with what’s working for me - I think this is where the discipline the vets coach has to kick in and we bide our time and stick with what’s working - no more, no less, until we recognize we’ve plateaued (and then it’s decon for me brothers!).

That listening to your body that you’re describing, is absolutely key. If you get that early on, I think your chances for success increase significantly.

Spot on! We’ve got plenty of time to make this work and it seems that those that approach it the way you’re describing just keep gaining incrementally over long spans of time - pretty amazing.

Woke up this AM with mild morning wood, definitely and improvement from yesterday morning.

Did some light stretching in the shower. I’ve began to notice that I can feel the stretches more now, in a good way. I think that’s a positive. Will be exercising again tomorrow and Friday then taking the weekend off.

I noticed that the last third of my shaft, right up until the head, was sore at the beginning when jelqing. The soreness went away after a doing a few and getting a bit more blood to circulate and I actually felt like this jelqing session was by far the best one I had yet. I focused on long, slow strokes and my unit was long and engorged about 60-75%. I felt like I got a great workout in but the initial soreness was something I thought I’d note. I plan on doing a rice sock warming session later tonight and then doing another workout tomorrow before taking the weekend off. Then my first week is in the books!

I definitely was noticing some fatigue at the beginning of stretching and on certain jelq strokes. Nothing too major though, and I wouldn’t call it painful either. Just residual effects from a good workout yesterday. Taking the weekend off and beginning week two on Monday.

Question though, does heating with a rice sock during down time and/or on rest days have any positive or negative effects? I usually have alone time in the evening when I’m watching my shows on HBO-go and have been throwing a rice sock on my unit for 10-20 minutes. I feel like it can’t really hurt but I’m curious if anyone else has knowledge on this. I’ve been careful to avoid the testicles as I’ve read the excess heat can cause a decrease in sperm production.

Either way week one is complete! I really enjoy the community’s support and am enthusiastic about continuing my journey towards my goals.

Yesterday was a rest day and so is today. I’m excited to start back up tomorrow.

I had a couple thoughts though:

It seems now every time I’m in the shower or even after I urinate and have my dick in my hands, I get the urge to do a few quick stretches. Should I try and avoid this? I don’t know how extreme you guys are on rest days but I feel like a quick downward or outward stretch a couple time throughout the day couldn’t hurt. But I also feel like I should be giving my unit a complete break on my rest days and not straining it at all. I don’t know..

And also, when doing kegals do people just try and contract the PC muscle or do an entire pelvic floor contraction? I used to really just contract the PC muscle and I couldn’t really edge very long and I also have suffered from premature ejaculation for about a year and a half now and just the other night I began starting my contraction more towards the anus and following through to the PC muscle and I felt as if I was actually KINDA able to control my urge to ejaculate. I’ve also been doing some stretching and minor yoga recently so perhaps that helped too. But this more “full” engagement of the pelvic floor muscles has seemed to be beneficial in the short amount of time I have been experimenting with it.
I only really masturbate/edge once a week, if not less, so I haven’t tried again since but eh, I was happy to say the least. Premature ejaculation has really sucked, it was SO embarrassing to bust in under 10 seconds with my ex girlfriend. Let to a lot of fingering/oral and blowjobs which ain’t so bad but still, feeling like you can’t have sex and experience her whole body and all that because you’re way too embarrassed really is a blow to one’s self esteem. At least for me it was.

I’ve done enough ranting but yea, any thoughts are appreciated.
