On advice from Bib I am going to try a more traditional “ride the fatigue” approach to hanging for a month and see how my gains compare. I will now be recording max weight used on the first set in this thread. All sets are still BTC and 20 min., but sets after the first set in each hanging session will probably have reduced weight as I am reaching fatigue faster in the first set, and these sets can very depending on how the weight feels, so they will not be recorded here. I do, however, keep a detailed record in my logbook if anyone is ever curious about specifics.
Doing this for the last two days felt really good. I think I am averaging around 8.5# across all sets, but doing the first set heavy really jumpstarts the discomfort/fatigue. And after about 3 weeks (!), 8# was starting to feel a bit ineffective finally.
