I’ve looked at the value of sheer volume. Girth is king there, says geometry. And the originator of this method found a girth explosion once he cracked how to use the system. So I want to see it myself.

But, I also want to Vac Hang. I have always wanted to try it and length along with this, sitting next to one of my theories, may actually come easier and I need to perform research while doing PE at this point to feel full actualization. I do not want to PE just for size anymore. I want to expand my base of knowledge and try other things that can be logged and useful in the future to them that come after me. I mean I know enough that going for size wouldn’t be an issue but I want to understand all aspects of why and how this method can work. To see how much of my thinking holds true in practice because this, down to probably a 4 month underestimate of how long this tube would last, has been an exercise in me predicting exactly what has been happening.

If I can forecast what happens next year and then make it happen I will find more value in the forecast being true than reaching 7” girth or 11” length. So right now I’m weighing which forecast I want to test and how, so that I can make next year into an experiment I want to perform.

I appreciate the input, other information from experienced pumpers is useful even if it isn’t my own path. I’ll take a read of it again, as I’ve seen some of Prelude’s theory before.

I would keep the clamping (or compression/constriction exercises) for sure and use the core expansion too grow the tissues in the pump. You definitely proofed that you are capable of taking the intensity of both exercises. As your EQ did not suffer so far, consider going all-in ;)
To ensure a good expansion in multi-directional directions in the pump, I would add O , slinky, or semi-flaccid bends and mid-eq squeezes before clamping as a warm up and add mid-eq jelqs after pumping to expand vertically as a warm-down.

As a pump template I would go for prelude’s style of pumping and adjust the times to high pressure.

So probably high pressure until packing and than overpacking with lowered pressure, but longer holds.

Hopefully you go for girth as you worked so hard to get to that point in the pump.
I would avoid a Vac Hanger because of potential blisters that could be the end for pumping until healed.
Personally I would go for a extender and strap in bundled or do tunica tugs before girth work.

I would stick with plan A. 6 months is a pittance to see if you have the curve correction methodology ironed out, particularly when the preliminary results are promising and when it is widely held that this is impossible.

But then you are aware of my biases and those shape my perspective here for sure.

That said, go where your passions lie, there’s no stronger driver.

My thinking is option A. I think that because it’s always been a goal of yours to fix the curve.

thoughtfulgold, would you say that that girth method that was referenced has been covered/tested on Thunder’s Place as well ? I would read more on it since I don’t understand it that well.

And is it safe for newbies, I am receiving a pump from pumptoys today and am getting a bit excited. But i might focus on lenght for a while for fear that my lenght gains are slowed down by girth gains.

Also I think this is awesome that you are choosing to test your theories and help the future generations of PEers, this is nice legacy.

I have read the theory so many times girth before length. But all the huge gainers on this forum have gained in both at the same time, makes it seem irrelevant?

No. This is not safe for newbies. Period.
Until you thoroughly understand pumping, how it affects you and how you personally gain with it all of PE4F High Pressure theory is worthless.

I took this theory and spent the last 10 months tweaking and testing it as well as combining clamping in what is obviously an unsafe fashion for most PE practitioners. I wholeheartedly agree with you. My choice here isn’t girth before length. It is just, I can’t pick to do both at once so an approach must be selected. My curve is a huge deal for me and going after girth puts it on the back burner. Length comes with curve reduction.

Girth before length is irrelevant. Whatever PE you are best at comes first.

What about the layers in the penis and the tunica/corpora cavernosus/etc that are said to get toughened over time with girth work, thus making it harder to gain in length?

For example, wouldn’t a clamping routine be too much or counterproductive added to a hanging schedule? I heard extending works best with girth routine, hanging should only be done with jelqing moderately for 10-30min sessions.

You will, over time, read information that will contradict that. You will read information that will confirm that. My question is just because you heard it does that make it matter? Does that make it the path to follow just because you heard it somewhere on the internet?

What I said comes from experience. And every big gainer did the same thing. They got good at something and then they did it and got the gains they wanted. I have never paid attention to when I should gain length or girth. Whatever it was that I wanted to do I have done and my persistence was rewarded in each case that I was able to master something.

Last time I checked not a single biological test on a Tunica has been performed. No one really knows when or what will toughen any part of the penis. We all have our own Theory then work within it. I have my theories and have logged my exploits following them.

You can choose what it is you wish to believe. PE has many iterations and many paths to the finish line.

Summing Up the Order of Events.

I came to this point in my PE journey through a cacophony of Events that are my perfect storm.

Timeline

1. I started research in the summer of 2017 on PE4F pumping. I had valuable discourse with Bearded Dragon and started roughing out an idea of my machine.

2. I researched an idea of how to splice a gauge into it.

3. I read all there was on the topic.

4. In 2018, January I started with PE4F and a heating pad as well as IR lamp heat.

5. January also saw my glans burn.

6. RomeoPlus appeared at some point to start giving me hints. I decided to stay in the 2” tube and work curvature while learning the system.

7. After a few months and going through summer off and on I saw mild gains of around .15” in length and .06” in girth bringing me to 9.25x6.18”

I spoke with Bearded Dragon here: BeardedDragon - PE4F High Pressure Pumping: thoughtfulgold and it seemed off.

8. I went onward another month seeing the same post pump numbers and clamping saw progressively better expansion with no better expansion out of the pump. That brings me to today’s entry-which is prefaced by a few in this log and the pumping log but short story in other notes here: Round 19 (55): Expansion patterns trending up

9. I contemplated how I got here. Asked for input. Reflected on my original goals using the 2” tube and how I did not account for my desires changing to a girth centric desire.

10. I repaired and calibrated my 2.25” tube for today’s experiment (which is later today and will be linked after completion) and saw impressive expansion in cable clamp last night of 6.41” with no heat and only 8 minutes under load.

Current situation

I listed all of these things to give some kind of timeline for the outside reader. To really get a feel for it you’ll just have to read both logs and follow along if there is any real interest in it. As it goes what the goal today is to isolate exactly how much expansion I get inside of the 2.25” diameter tube. If I am able to relatively symmetrically pack it more than halfway up I am definitely ready for the diameter increase. If I only get half way up that’s still the case. As that will be greater expansion in it than I originally had. My original expansion in the 2-inch tube was roughly halfway up before I began to pack it properly. I do expect that I will likely have to make progress as I did before.

I have contemplated a great deal on moving up cylinder sizes and focusing on a girth Centric goal for the next year. I see it as a labor saver. When it gets to the point that I pack a 2.25” diameter tube I will be at my absolute girth maximum. And there will be no reason to size up to another larger-diameter as I do not want to reach any further girth goals than the potential 7.07” circumference that the 2.25” cylinder offers.

The key element was that my girth froze at 6.18” around May and has stayed there. Which, I think I knew would happen but my ambition later got frustrated with in August when I started adding clamping. But geometry said that I was not going to be closer than .1” in circumference to the maximum circumference of a 6.28” cylinder. I wouldn’t fit and expand without some level of play in it. So I gained right to the walls of the tube and plugged away.

The path diverges

That was my original goal. I saw some curve correction this year as a result I think as well. All of this was as I originally planned. But my innate male desire for more kicked in after a few months of no gains. And clamping showed that my penis did have expansion potential i wasn’t seeing with the pump and because I pump with a heating pad covering the cylinder I was not observing the early and constant hard packing going on. The cylinder clearly was limiting me and I only observed it on a hunch taking the heating pad off in minute 2 looking at expansion under just 7-8HG of pressure. This happened within the last week and started this whole train of thought and pushed me to repair my larger tube so that I could learn more.

The Plan Moving Forward

At this point my goal is to take the plan B option (referred to in depth in this post: Turning Point: Packing 2” Cylinder and direction to take from here.) and expand until I pack this 2.25 diameter tube and then go with plan A indefinitely, to pump with a snug fitting tube until curvature is corrected to my satisfaction and greater length is attained. I do have some tweaks and some other sideline goals that I will pursue after packing the 2.25” diameter tube but none of them include purchasing a 2.5” diameter tube and increasing girth any further. Not at this point anyway.

Other Notes

1. Common Sense conventional PE dictates that sizing up cylinders make sense. Whether my specific Theory holds water or not does not change this.

2. I have spent a fair amount of time contemplating various outcomes. I do feel this is one of the more pivotal PE decisions that I will make. Accepting a goal that takes my girth into what is incredible territory that may limit future Partners is something to meditate on.

3. If girth expansion with the 2.25 to increases at a rate more rapid than I saw in the last 10 months then PE4F pumping theory will hold water based on the way that the original user purported in his log documenting his own gains. That is my current hypothesis that will be tested.

4. I still plan on adding the LG hanger and doing vacuum hanging along with this pumping. My own secondary theories are still being tested along with the high pressure pump Theory gains yield rates.

Neither could i find a tunica based study/experiment, i did find something about the rat tunica, found it on this site actually, it said something about 160kg being the force needed to break the tunica..

I also believe that tunica toughening/length before girth theories are overrated, so the best advice remains to go by your feeling.

I don’t give out advice to make anyone happy. I give out the best information I have for the topic in question. Honestly, so much theory and conjecture about PE will slow you down. That’s why, when you do it, pick a theory you want to work within the boundaries of and then work. Do something you’re good at and enjoy in the PE category so that it doesn’t become a chore and you can put the time in. These two things are how you’ll bring the gains you seek to you.
