I’ve been lurking for some time, reading, analyzing, getting confused, then reading some more. Finally I feel like I am ready to contribute something.

I’ve been inconsistently practicing PE for a few years, since first stumbling up a forum like this one, a forum which I’ve since come to doubt it’s integrity. In that time I’ve sporadically used a Bathmate, probably at too high of pressure, but discarded that device for manual stretching and jelqing approximately a year ago. For some time I wasn’t keeping track of my routine in a disciplined way, so I ended up doing too much too soon, I suspect. That’s based on what I’ve discerned from this forum, that especially in the beginning, less is more.

For the past year I’ve steadily scaled back the amount of stretching I do down to 10 to 15 minutes of manuals in all directions in a hot bath, between 4 and 5 days a week. So far from what I can tell, my best results have come since abandoning the jelq altogether and focusing only on stretches. After restricting my routine to stretching only, I reached my personal best BPFSL of slightly over 8.5” and my erect length was just shy of the 8” mark. 8” if I lay a tailor’s tape along the shaft, following it’s natural slight upturn. These measurement milestones were one month ago.

Since that time my EL varies but has remained about the same, I don’t actually break out the tape often, but my BPFSL has not reached that length since.

I am taking some time off, and reevaluating how to start a routine that will be more effective for me at this stage my practice.

Overall, I have definitely gained. I am longer, feel fuller in my hand, and in general hang a little better than when I first started. Although I was probably being generous when taking beginning measurements, I had always been around 7 inches erect prior beginning PE. PE works, this site works, and I am grateful for it.

I graciously welcome any input from those more experienced than myself, regarding how I may continue to progress at this stage in the game. I will share my progress or lack of it, and hopefully contribute something to this wonderful resource.

Side note: I own an X4 extender, and have been considering how I can take advantage of its potential, but do not find it as wearable as many seem to, and can only wear it at home, so at this point it has been collecting dust.

Hi Deeayuh, I can try to help. Here are my thoughts.

Well…your Newbie Gains have to have been used up by now. With that said, you can proceed any number of ways.

Take off 4 weeks or more, then evaluate what you want most. Is it length or girth? Take a look at the Penis Enlargement Videos and then use the search bar and see what’s been said about the various exercises. Give them a try if you want. See how effective you find them. There are too many options for someone to lay out a plan for you when you know your goals and your penis better than any of us here.

Your X4, if you don’t find it comfortable and aren’t willing to wrestle with it until it is, is not going to help much. I wrestled with mine for quite some time before getting it to work. And it still wasn’t comfortable. My super secret extender technique may work for you but…it’s pretty advanced. I have it written in green on that post. Be sure to keep it under your hat. *chuckles*

My Extender and forward to 10" and balls enhancement project. There is no "Holy Grail" of Penis Enlargement. Only time and effort works. I'm *10* years in and counting. All you have to do is put the work in and keep the faith.

Thank you Thoughtfulgold. I will heed your advice and take some time off. As for my goals, I would like to increase my length noticeably before worrying about girth. I’ve never bothered to take girth measurements, because it’s not really on my radar at this point. I have gained girth though, I feel heavier than I did this time last year.

I’ll watch the videos as you suggest, and read about each exercise individually, and hopefully develop a strategy that will keep the length gains coming. I believe there is potential to grow at this point. Maybe after my break I could start in earnest on a newbie-like routine, but without jelqs? I would never disparage a technique that works for others, but in my experience, jelqs impair my EQ. It’s unfortunate because the swell they give me short term is satisfying.

The approach is solid. Take your time researching. Don’t rush into it. Since you’re taking time off, you’ll have plenty of time to learn about the other exercises and how they usually work for other guys. The information is here and the jelq doesn’t work well for everyone. That’s why so many other manuals and exercises exist. If you’ve got questions, ask but…a lot of the answers are already here.

So I’ve returned after nearly 8 months of no PE. I’ll be using a routine of manual stretching only, no jelqs for the first three months, and seeing how it goes. Depending on how things are looking at 90 days, I’ll reevaluate and modify accordingly.

In the meantime, does ten minutes under tension via manual stretches seem like too little to spur growth?

10min of manual stretching is already quite a bit and certainly more than sufficient. I usually recommend 5 min stretching (2x30secs in 5 directions) as initial stretch routine.

As long as you use enough heat and PI being positive, you can do 10min. But mire is not always more.

The growth is not only depending on training stimulus but on number of rest days. Try to start at a low frequency (like1 or 2on and always 2off) and you should notice growth by stretching after 90 days.
