I found an excellent thread on edging theory and after thinking about where it might help, have added edging to my routine with the intention of it synergistically helping to provoke girth gains (will consist of 10 minute edging sessions twice a day on Micro-I & Micro-P days - none on Micro-R days - doesn’t seem like much on one hand, but my PIs are already right at the ‘edge’ of acceptable). Will use edging thru my Macro-P phase as well but none in Macro-R phase (as in complete rest for my unit).

Macro-I: 2 wks (each week = 2 days Micro-I, 3 days Micro-P & 2 days Micro-R)
Macro-P: 0 wks
Macro-R: 0 wks
L-Gain: 0.0625”
G-again: 0.0000” (holding off on measuring but looking damn girthy - perhaps the edging contributing a bit already)
No porn/fap: 4 wks
Walking 10k steps: 2 wk
Working out: 2 wk
Inches lost (waist/navel): 0.0625”
Weight lost: 0.8 lbs

QL. Thanks for sharing your progress, I’ve read through it and think we’re both at a similar place in terms of stalling.

I too have stepped away from PE in recent months and not seen any decrease in size which is great. I have been casually stretching or edging here or there but with no focus on gaining.

It was time for me to change it up (to continue growing) and was looking for something when I saw your mention of IPR and your routine. It looks good and I will give it a go!

Thanks for the comments. We could probably stop where we’re at and be happy with our results (and those are some awesome gains you’ve had btw), but of course there’s no reason to quit trying new ideas when hitting walls such as this.

Based on tons of anecdotal evidence, I think following IPR protocols will unlock the path for many of us that were probably just at the end of their initial Proliferation stage and their units just needed the reset that a prolonged Rest phase gives (which I formerly thought of as a deconditioning break). Any set goals for you as you attempt an IPR approach?

I read some of your posts and noticed you’re big on manual exercises as am l and I’m curious to what you attribute your girth gains - something specific or a general approach?

Also, I picked up that you utilise edging and wondered if ithere’s a minimum amount that you discovered worked for you - any combos of edging before or after PE and/or on rest days - any guidelines or guesses guided by your experience/intuition are appreciated.

Yes, I’ve stuck to manuals due to privacy in a family home. I’d love to experiment with pumping someday as I reckon both length and girth can benefit.

I have tried to spend time on girth exercises whenever possible. I’ve given horse 440s and plenty of others a go but never stuck to one for months on end. I would say probably jelqing sessions followed by cockring type clamping has been most consistent for me when it comes to girth work. Basically engorging and then trapping it all in to see if I can make the expansion permanent.

The more I think about my edging activities the more I think it has been to maintain erection when clamping with cockrings. I would have these sessions for 20-30+ minutes where it was engorged and I over did it. My penis would let me know I’d pushed the envelope too far the next day!

Just to add to that I measured during an edging session today (cockring on) and I exceeded 6 inches mid-shaft girth. I might have to work how to take a photo when it’s like this to evidence it.

I’m still struggling to hit 5” but man, that’s just awesome - really glad for you especially if your partner’s appreciative. I’m gonna try my present approach for a minimum of half the year as it is but if I have no girth gains, I can see some clamping coming back into my sessions - especially using multiple clamps as Xeno & BD have discussed.

Weekly Report

It’s the last week of my Macro-I phase and I’ve been upping my intensity on my (twice weekly) P.E. days steadily increasing the amount of time spent on stretching & jelqing by a factor of 1.15 each session (simplifying a bit but this is a multiplier Xeno once supplied based on some of his experiments with I.P.R.).

Coming off several months of decon I’d begun with 2 sessions of jelqing (morning & evening of P.E. days) with a nice easy 8 minutes per session to ease back in. Over the past several weeks however, I progressed up to two 18 minute jelq sessions as of today and will peak at 21 minute jelqing sessions on Thursday. I’ve also increased the time on each stretch component of my V-stretches which is wearing my hands out (and I have strong hands) - glad their’s just one more Micro-I day left in this cycle when everything ratchets up the final notch.

Just took one of my stretching breaks at work and am noticing that my flaccid hang has been more substantial lately but my gut says it’s more due to using an ADS consistently and my unit is just being stretching into a larger size (rather than an actual imminent gain - hoping that translates to something). Girth definitely feels like it’s responding but I’m in no rush to measure. And now back to our regularly scheduled ADS.

For jelqing, this means I began with 8 minute jelqing sessions at the beginning of my Macro-I phase and have incrementally increased over the weeks to 21 minute jelqing sessions. Fell off the no porn/fap bandwagon big time yesterday. Really sucks, but on the bright side, you always have a very clear mind afterwards which can give insight into how to tighten things down better for your next attempt at no porn/fap. So I got 5 solid weeks this attempt - aiming for 6 weeks next time!

Periodic Diatribe: Took a shot at IPR protocol but my results weren’t positive - guessing I didn’t hit my I-Phase hard enough. Not blaming the protocol but moving on. What was positive, was the rest that my mind and body had from P.E. so there’s that. Back to the drawing board with a simpler tool kit.

PE: Funny what a few months can do to your plans. In a past log entry as I start my IPR experiment I say, “I’m holding firmly to the following plan” blabbing on about 4 13-week cycles I’m amped up for. After plateauing, I’d probably have been hooked if I’d seen even a sixteenth of an inch of new growth. Perhaps I should’ve given it more of a chance and done something different or maybe I’ve just reached my cock’s limit for growth. Dunno, but my current hunch is what worked before for me may work again after the extended break but if after a few months this is not the case, it’ll be time to move beyond manuals and try other things (i.e. hanging, extending, pumping, clamping, etc.).

PE Routine:
Before work
- 5 min warm-up
- 1 set of 12-point modified V-stretches
- 10 min jelqing
- 5 min warm-down

At work
- 5 sets of 12-point modified V-stretches spread thru my work day.

Current PE Goals:
- EG: 5.0 - Want to stay in this game until I hit this goal and beyond if Mrs. QL responds appreciatively.
- NBPEL: At 7.1, I’m perfectly content with current length

Porn: Arghhh! Caught in a bad cycle that is thus far unbreakable. Back to SA meetings.

Fitness: Keepin’ the dream alive with intermittent walking and light workouts but gotta make it more of a priority like I did with P.E. Frustrating to know that results are right there if you just whip your ass into gear but everything and it’s brother are competing for your time.

Getting back in the game again after a year off with (thankfully) no loss of gains. Good to see old timers and newbs alike keeping the faith on Thunder’s Place. No insecurities driving me for this round - just seemed like something fun to get back into after what became an extended PE break and no, my attempt at IPR (that I described in way too much detail earlier in my log) yielded no gains - zero - nada - zilch - thus the dark night of decon that followed as I really didn’t want to go beyond manual work nor increase time expended for additional gains.

I’ve been curious the impact of the current health crisis on PE practitioner’s (has anyone done a thread on this?) since many of us are in much closer, contact with family members. I know the limited amount of stealth PE I’ve started up still earns me more knocks on the bathroom door than I care for.

“That’s right [explaining to the other side of door], “it’s my spastic colon again!”

Speaking of my routine, I’ve returned to PE doing an extremely minimal set of stretches like those espoused by humglikeagerbil (see an exhange we had regarding this) and already am seeing a fuller flaccid (which has always been a precursor to gains for me) after just 2 weeks of tugging on my unit. Will have to wait for the reopening to add jelqing back in. In the meantime, I’m brushing up on manual girth techniques as my remaining goal is a bit more girth (having become very content with my enhanced length of 7.1” which I still find remarkable after decades of owning a 5.5” dick).
