Progress Report, Advice Greatly Appreciated

Hi and what’s up to anyone reading this thread.

I just joined this community after sporadically trying PE for the last 2 years. In the past, I haven’t made much progress and so I took action in joining.

I feel that there are competent, intelligent and helpful people here who have already achieved what I’m after. Of course, I would greatly appreciate any advice from someone who has already made significant progress in PE.

From learning more about PE and a little personal experience, I understand that time and consistency are more important than unsustainable bursts of intensity. With that, here is my current routine, I’m on week 2 as of this writing:

Exercising 5 days on - 2 days off.

Morning:

5 minutes warm-up in the shower
15 minutes wet jelqing
10 minutes pumping

Night:

3 x 30 minute stretch left/down/right

That’s it. I feel it’s simple and is something I can be consistent in for the long-term.

My commitment is towards gaining 2 inches in length by this time next year and 1 inch in girth.

My question, from the collective experience of people on this forum is, followed for 1 year, is the routine I am currently on conducive to the gains I’m after ?

THat sounds like a fine routine, I assume you meant 30 seconds of stretching, not minutes.

You may want to reconsider your goals , while not impossible they are unlikely to be attained. At the very least either set smaller goals, or don’t set any goals at all and just focus on how you perform your routine (focused on each jelq and stretch, pace, what sensations you feel etc..) and be steady.

It’s a good way to get started but of course you’ll need to up the intensity or the quantity or both over time.

Check the statistical probabilities in the link on my signature. 2 inches in one year is indeed unlikely but if you did it in 2 or 3 years maybe it’s still well worth it :)

I think many people are confused by it so I’ll give you the number, of the relatively small sample of men who have input believable log entries resulting in a 2” length gain, the 50th percentile in terms of days to achieve it was 609 days.

Thank you Walter, I appreciate your input.

I was unclear with my night routine. By 3 x 30 minutes left/down/right, I mean I set my timer for 30 minutes and stretch in a direction for as long as is comfortable at a time. I keep repeating this for the course of 30 minutes. When I’m done, I rest a bit and do the same for the other directions.

I like your attitude of considering not setting any goals and just being consistent/focused with exercising. I feel this would save me from a lot of potential frustration down the line. Thanks!

Of course, even if it takes me 3 years to gain that extra 2 inches, that’s nothing compared to a lifetime of personal satisfaction.

That’s a(n awful) lot of stretching for a newbie.
Have a look at the newbie routines (I know you already did some PE, but very inconsistently from what I understand) and compare them with your stretching session.

Make sure you ease into each stretch, try to make 3mn+ holds everytime and switch hands rapidly.

I’ll definitely have a look at the newbie routines and will experiment with the stretching routine you’ve recommended.

Started 11/2014 6" BPEL x 4" MEG (Ballpark #'s)

As of 01/2017 7 1/2" BPEL x 4 7/8" MEG

Goal for 2018 is 8" BPEL x 5 1/4" MEG! PE'ing Just Over a Year and Going for 8x6
