Progress and Motivation Log, plus Thoughts on PE

I started PE around mid-March 2017, with a BPEL of 6.5 inches, MEG of 4.7 inches.

My goals:
- Healthy unit
- Good EQ and short refractory period
- Length: reach my bellybutton erect, an increase of 1 to 1.5 in.
- Girth: not being able to close my OK grip around when erect, an increase of 1 to 1.5 in.
- Endurance: Be able to go at it like a rabbit for 10 minutes without ejaculating

Routine:
I have done a tailored version of the newbie routine for the first 3 months consisting of a 10-minute warmup, 1 to 5 minutes of stretching (depending on the mood), 10 minutes of jelqing and 5 minutes of warm-down. I sporadically kegeled during the routine.

Since the 3-month mark and up to this point, I’ve started throwing in A-stretches, flaccid bends, squeezes and Ulis. I plan to keep this routine for 6 months, and eventually change it up if I see no gains.

I usually do 2 days on, 1 day off. I am still unsure about the optimal schedule in terms of on/off days (have tried 5on/2off, but it seems not to suit me, at this point at least).

I would like to keep my routine manual and as short as possible.

I am also still learning to get in the zone and get the perfect workout every single time.

Measurement and gains:
I will accept a gain as such if and only if it is higher than 0.5 cm (0.2 in) due to measurement error. I am bad at measuring, EQ varies and I’m ruler-shy.

So far, I have not seen gains, but my unit is more healthy.

Some wise words, from members, that I have adopted:
- It’s not about quantity, but quality instead

I am currently on a 1 week break from PE and will restart on Wednesday.

The benefits I have seen from my break:
- Physically, better PI’s, in other words, a rested unit aching for a workout
- Mentally, I was able to develop a ‘zen’ attitude towards PE and not worry so much about it. So if I miss a workout in the future, it won’t be that big of a deal since it just means my unit will be that much more prepared for a workout.

I do plan on ‘punctuating’ my routine, so PEing for a few weeks (4-8) and taking a break (1-2 weeks).

Giving way to my impatience, I have decided on reaching 5+ inches in girth in the coming 6 months.

By 2018, I will no longer be on the thinner side of average in the girth department.

I still have to discover if I am “more is more” or “less is more”.

As a personal note, during my week break I had the impression that my unit was ‘heavier’ on the 2nd day of the break.. Leading me to assume that my 1on/1off routine might good.

Today was my first session in a while after about a 10-day break. No growth during break.

Consisted of 10-15 minutes of jelqing. I am considering 2 short (10 min) sessions daily - morning/evening. They will consist mainly of jelqing

The observation that on the second rest day your unit seems fuller leads to a new approach. Keep the two rest day as core strategy.

It is well possible to find out what type you are. First suspicion, at least for me, is always more is more. So try the following:

- Keep the routine you actually have steady without any modifications

- Then work on routine frequency in a gradual ramp-up in monthly steps, indicated as on/off-days
Month 1: 1/2
Month 2: 2/2
Month 3: 3/2
Month 4: 4/2
Month 5: 5/2 (maximum recommended frequency)

- Watch your PI’s and growth numbers during the ramp-up. As long as everything is OK, increase. When PI’s drop or growth stalls, step back to the revious month frequency. Voilá, you’ve found your optimal frequency for the given routine.

- After having found the right frequency, you can do the same thing by increasing the exercise length in the routine. Just always go gradually and you’ll succeed.

A few comments on the above goals you set. Healthy unit is all up to you. Just keep checking your PI’s. With the belly button, maybe give us some indication on your length. I’ve seen a few guys setting this as a goal, and I’ve always wondered, well that can vary a lot depending on you height and race. (I will get to why race influences this a little later) So maybe just drop your height with how far you have to gain to reach it.
Girth, I noticed you only jelq. Have you tried incorporating a few manual squeezes with your jelqing routine? It works wonders for me in the girth department when my guy is looking a little on the thin side.
Endurance. This my friend is where edging comes in. It worked wonders for me in the bedroom with endurance issues. Also it helped with cementing in gains and healing after a session. Just some suggestions. Always listen to your body and you can’t go wrong.

In terms of height I’m 1m86cm —- 6ft.1in.
While my BPEL is certainly all right, (6.5 in.), I wouldn’t mind an extra inch, 2 would be great but only with a proportional increase in girth.

My stats are 6.5 length by 4.7 girth and I want (hope) to cement 8.2 by 6.5 ideally in the long term. Of course, if I reach 7.5 by 5.5, I’ll be more than content.

I have incorporated squeezing exercises for 1 month after my newbie period (uli’s, squeezes, semi-erect bends) during jelqing, and plan on ramping up these exercises progressively during the next few months.

What discourages me a bit with edging is the fact that I can’t remain stimulated and have a 100% erection going for the entire 30 minutes I aim for. It might be the case for the first few minutes, but it will subside eventually and I have to make a lot of mental effort to keep the 100% erection. While it’s easier with porn, it’s not something I want to do, so I end up not edging 95% of the time. Nonetheless, I will do my best to do it more often after workouts.

Don’t be discouradged by not yet being able to edge for 30mins. It takes time and practice. Set a goal for your edging session that it ahould be equal or longer than the previoius one, but not shorter.

Only a pleasure. Always try to help. I can give you a squeeze I have seen good girth gains in. I swear by it. Its a type of horse 440 squeeze. This is how I do it, but just a word of caution. It places immense pressure on your dick and should not be attempted if you don’t have some experience with squeezes and your dick isn’t conditioned correctly. But, if you feel you can do it, still just go about it slowly. Adding pressure in small increments. I would hate for you to injure yourself.

Well I start off by getting myself to 100% erect, and with an overhand ok grip I grip it at the base of my dick rather hard to fill my dick nice and tight. Then with my other hand I also grip with an overhand ok grip but just beneath the glands. This is where it gets tricky. Don’t go in and just grip. Start the grip slow. Adding pressure only if you know you can take more. My dick can take some real abuse but even this one took some getting use to. So start slowly. But I have seen some rapid girth gains with adding this grip in between jelq sets.

Thanks for the tips and the exercise!
I will incorporate it into my routine, but it won’t be at 100% erection since my unit can’t take that much yet, but I will surely build towards that progressively.
I also plan to do more squeezing exercises during my routine - maybe 60% jelqing - 40% squeezing in terms of time. Will let you know of my future success! Enjoy the weekend :)

So I have been doing 1 day on 2 days off like R65 recommended, but the urge to PE is huge on off days. That’s a good thing; it means that I enjoy it and will not quit anytime soon. High 5 to my unit!

I have also been slowly incorporating more squeezes like Pleasingthewife said. Unfortunately I don’t get immense expansion from squeezing - eyeballing -maybe 1 millimeter in terms of width from both sides - let’s just say that it doesn’t substantially expand. Of course I’ll take that minute expansion any day if it cements over time and is reproducible.

I have also started edging after workouts, even if not at full erection in the beginning, I tune my thoughts to get me there and I have been at it for at least 10 minutes following workouts.

I am getting better at jelqing, as I’m finally starting to understand what “jelqing is an art” means.

I also feel like I need to go back to basics and take a look at PI’s and EQ again.

I have good news: you’re in week 2 of the 1on/2off frequency. In week 5, you will upgrade to a 2on/2off frequency.

I think the “urge to do more” is indeed a good sign. It’s a positive MI (mental indicator) and shows your motivation level. Patience is a male virtue, and virtue will be rewarded.

But only in week 5 :-)
